Affects the general perception and design of Sorento. Its more applied forms do not give a clear perception of dimensions, which visually makes the car even more. X-Trail against its background resembles a chest of drawers. Although he has places where designers probably had to resort to the help of patterns. But, apparently, at their disposal there were much less patterns than the team of Peter Schreer. The name of the latter, by the way, is named the new corporate style of the entire KIA model line. However, who likes what. Even in the ranks of our test group, opinions about which car looks more spectacular are divided. Therefore, we will leave without comment.

But the fact that the interior is more interesting for Kia, we will not deny. It contains quality, style, and comfort. Nissan is also quite well tailored from the inside, but against the background of Sorento it looks more modest. And the place in it, whatever one may say, is still smaller. It is especially great on the second row of seats. Of course, a huge hatch visually somewhat expands the boundaries, which extends from the windshield to the trunk, but no matter how spacious above, the legs are still more comfortable in Sorento. And the organization of the trunk is more effective in X-Trail. To get into the underput, which is also available in Sorento, Nissan is much easier, it is drawn up. But in order to climb into the far corner of the bins in Sorento, you will have to rest your knees into the bumper, and it does not differ in sloppy weather in slopping weather. As well as the whole car as a whole. An amazing thing, but when driving approximately the same roads to the site of the meeting of Sorento managed to get dirty
much stronger than X-Trail. Apparently, the wheels of larger diameter and the absence of the threshold affected. The latter, by the way, is also an option on Nissan. The last characteristic, oddly enough, is more related to Sorento. The X-Trail in such a situation for its right to further move forward fought to the last, creaking with the braking wheels. However, some areas were too tough for him. But we attribute this to the fact that, unlike winter tires that stood on Sorento, the X-Trail was in the demi-season shoe, and sometimes she did not allow to speak off-road in the language that it understands.


Our verdict
So what to prefer in this situation, especially when you consider that the cost of cars is approximately the same? It depends on what you need. If a fairly impressive crossover with the maximum level of comfort and acceptable dynamics on the highway, we would choose Kia Sorento. In addition, his design is closer to city entourage. Well, if you are in dire need of compact, but a full -fledged SUV, then you most likely need to keep the way to the Official Nissan dealer. The X-Trail is from those cars that does not disappoint on the highway, and does not save on the road.
