For an amateur, as they say. Some will be delighted with the car, others creak contemptuously. For example, my traffic cops really liked the car. Therefore, in fact, they stopped.
Teana of the second generation was put on a tough new D-class platform. According to the manufacturer, the car has become less susceptible to total vibration loads from here less noise and higher security level. The introduction of a new platform entailed a significant change in the design of the suspension.
For example, the angle of longitudinal inclination of the front racks is two degrees more than in the suspension of the previous model.
The innovation made the car more stable with straight movement, and in general, the suspension began to work much better. For the Russian market, the car is equipped with two six -cylinder gasoline engines with a volume of 2.5 and 3.5 liters. The first power plant VQ25DE has a maximum power of 182 hp. at 6000 rpm and the maximum torque of 228 nm at 4400 rpm. The second power plant VQ35DE gives its 249 horses at 6000 rpm, the maximum torque of 326 nm is available at 4400 rpm.
The VQ25DE engine is sharpened for the use of gasoline with an octane number 92. This is another fact that will please the Russian car owner. Although the operating volume of the new VQ25DE engine is 200 cubes more than the previous Teana unit, the average fuel appetite indicator has decreased by 7%. Meanwhile, some drivers of the dynamics of acceleration of a car with a 2.5 -liter engine may seem too smooth and measured. With a 3.5 -liter engine, Teana, of course, moves more nimble, and when clicking on the gas pedal, there is no thought: or maybe to push up? It seemed to us that with a more powerful Teana engine, not only moves faster, but also in the cabin is much quieter, and you feel more comfortable. True, for a car with VQ35DE you will have to pay about 60,000 rubles more than for Teana in a similar configuration, but with the VQ25DE engine. Yes, and you will have to pay more for the fuel: VQ35DE is fed by 95th gasoline.
In any configuration, the Teana engines are aggregated with a variator transmission with a whole bunch of auxiliary electronics, which allows the machine to quickly respond to pressing the gas pedal, smoothly without jerks and twitching the speed. So everything really is. However, we cannot but notice that this smoothness is sometimes depressing so much that you want to sleep. No, the hellish anneal is contraindicated, and it is not capable of it. Her patrimony is global relaxation and strict observance of traffic rules.
In terms of dimensions, the new Teana remained in fact the former Teana (only 5 mm increased, 3 mm width increased by 5 mm).
The wheelbase and height have not changed. But the internal volume of the cabin did not grow by 35 mm, but by centimeters. I won’t climb with a ruler on the cabin, but, sitting on the back sofa, I did not feel like a sprinkle in a bank. With a height of 180 cm, the knees did not rest on the backs of the seats of the driver or the passenger. The headrests of the rear seats with a width of 350 mm with adjustable side ears were especially pleased. Neither give or take aeroflot, business class.
Hearing a word business from my lips, the servants suddenly remembered their work. The documents were returned with words of gratitude and the wishes of a happy path. I did not understand who mocked whom. However, it doesn’t matter. Nissan Teana will not get worse from this.
Nissan Teana engines of the VQ series have passed a special improvement program. Piston rings are processed using Physical Vapor Deposit technology (physical deposition from the steam phase). The surfaces of the valve lifting fists are treated with Diamond-Like Carbon carbon coating (diamond-like carbon). The VQ35DE engine received two additional air flow control valves in the intake manifold, and the cylinder block of this motor is equipped with additional oil channels.
