The motor is borrowed from the same Nissan X-Trail. Leaving the V6 motor under the hood, which are equipped with front -wheel drive sedans did not allow limited space. In addition, this could significantly increase the price.

A 2.5-liter four for Nissan Teana is also a novelty. Monkey versions of the sedan are equipped with a 2.5 and 3.5 -liter gasoline V6 with a volume of 2.5 and 3.5 liters, but it would be a complex and expensive solution to combine these engines with a full -wheel drive transmission. In this regard, the Japanese plans to implement in 2010 a little more than 10 thousand Thean, a quarter of which should make all -wheel drive versions are more than real. Well, a car that takes second place in the class can afford it.
