Nissan Teana 4x4: at the request of workers

Look and distribute, ask and you will be heard! It is at the request of customers (real and potential) that Nissan launches the version of Nissan Teana adapted for Russia. With all -wheel drive and increased road clearance. Kolesa.ru examined the plant in Kamenka and counted the first couple of kilometers on the odometer of the novelty.

In general, customers are satisfied with the Petersburg TEANA sedans (the second generation of the model from June 2, 2009 is made at the plant in St. Petersburg). But the road clearance (135-mm) and the front-wheel drive did not allow many to get to the cottage or to work (when the house is where else/no longer asphalt). The Nissanists showed an amazing sensitivity to the problems of the target audience, and in a few months Kaisen-Yidea to make all the Theans 15 mm higher came to life: all the machines produced since March 2010 have a clearance of 150 mm.

Kaisen is a Japanese national principle of continuous improvement of production processes, development, and in general any life aspects. For example, at the Nissan factory, Kaisen is manifested in the fact that each employee has the right to propose his idea of \u200b\u200boptimizing production, and if the idea is approved by a rewards that showed the initiative.

But only the road clearance was not enough for customers. Consumers asked Nissan to connect the rear wheels to the Teana engine, to which the company answered again.
All-wheel drive sedans have a 2.5-liter in-line four (V6 of the same volume that is placed on the front-in-law, simply did not fit), which has lower power, but a slightly larger torque, available a little earlier than the previous one (240 nm at 4000 rpm instead of 228 nm at 4400 rpm). Otherwise, the post -Martovsky Teana is no different from the ancestors only by the button of blocking the center differential, an alternative automatic transmission regime.

Practice has shown that the Theans with the Haldex coupling between the wheels do not really get stuck where the rest could smoke: the participation of the rear wheels, even without a blocked center, pulls the car out of sand and shallow mud. On solid coating, all -wheel drive Teana is almost not inferior to the monopoly in the dynamics of acceleration and are much more willing to screw into turns. A little more rigid suspension has to pay for this, increased (but manifested only in extreme modes) rolls and working a little louder than a power plant. Otherwise, TEANA, even with all-wheel drive, is still a comfortable sedan with an unusually spacious salon, a high level of equipment and a representative appearance; Micado Nissan is no longer afraid to stain his kimono.

By the end of the year, Nissan will release about 2,000 Teana 4x4. Their price ranges from 1,075,000 to 1,243,000 rubles, depending on the level of configuration, while monopoly sedans cost from 917,000 rubles. In addition to Teana, the X-Trail crossovers are produced in Kamenka and recently established the process of manufacturing more expensive Murano all-terrain vehicles. The latter will reach dealers by the beginning of 2011 and will be produced by 3,000 cars per year.
