Do you remember those multi -month queues lined up with Nissan dealers when Qashqai appeared? All students wanted him, and doctors of sciences, and domestic housewives, and even tooth doctors. Our family did not stand aside from progress. We also wanted Qashqai. They just decided to wait until the excitement comes down, besides, I wanted to hear the opinion of a person who would have traveled in this car for at least six months. Such a person was found. And after some time, very short -lived, this man, wherever it comes to who to buy what car, advised everyone the same thing: buy Qashqai. Soon this was even a saying in our editorial office.

However, the excitement did not fall, and my wife and my wife Olga and I decided to postpone the crossover for some time. Firstly, Kashkayev on the street began not to push through. Secondly, it was reasonable to wait for modernization for sure something will come out of the new model, and the updated option will be taking into account the wishes. Thirdly, I wanted to see what the competitors will answer.

And they answered! In the spring, I was lucky to visit Japan and drive there at the ASX at the Mitsubishi training ground (5 wheel, No. 6, 2010). I returned under the impression, impressed my family. They began to wait for ASX to enter our dealers. The child was especially eager, Andrei Andreevich, whose first word, by the way, was not a mother or dad in life, but a Volkswagen, a guy in the subject. So now, when there was an opportunity to ride at the same time on Qashqai and ASX, we went to work with the whole family. Because only I became a fan of ASX, Andrei Andreevich took my word for me, and Olga still had doubts about the choice.

Our testing department organized a meeting of competitors on the shore of the bay. To the very water itself, where the current rivals flaunted side by side, I could not get on my galant. A hundred meters had to walk on deep loose sand. I sit behind the wheel of ASX. In general, I remember everything, I have not forgotten in six months. But there is nothing: neither the navigator with the rear view camera, nor Hands Free Bluetooth, for example.

There is no panoramic roof, and we don’t need it, we do not need it. There is no round drive switch of drive modes either, which means this is 2WD equipment. I clarify that the engine turned out to be 1.8 CVT. I in Japan most of all I liked it, only there it was launched by a button, and then a key.

Olga, meanwhile, explores navigational possessions. I like everything conveniently, spacious, functional.

Yes, this equipment is more than one and a half times! (It turned out so.) They decided not to report the difference in the drive of Olga, but they offered her to drive in the hill along the sand plowed by wheels in the other car. Alas, my ASX was immediately stuck. Handing back and accelerating, Olga made several unsuccessful attempts, and then nevertheless conquered the height, taking a little to the side of the grass.

Against this background, the all -wheel drive Qashqai felt like a king. It was possible to crawl in a hill on it and even stop halfway and continue to move. Of course, I immediately hastened to open the girl's eyes to this monstrous injustice, and the further discussion of the topic of the drive was no longer a comparison of ASX and Qashqai, but the need for 4wd personally as such. They decided in a haste that we still prefer to save money on this.

In general, we need a crossover for travel, and on good roads. In the summer we go to Ukraine, to Finland, just out of town. We are going to stretch the route further to Europe. The child grows, and in the back seat in the children's chair he becomes crowded. If you go more than a thousand kilometers, hands and arms flow, when the back is almost back in front, and a mountain of baggage is nearby. So the salon and trunk were evaluated in this regard.

As for the spaciousness in the back row, the big difference is immediately noticeable: the seat in the ASX is significantly shorter, so the legs are more here. A massive plastic influx is going on in Qashqai from below, in addition, a large speaker sticks out in the doorway, which you stumble about when leaving the habit. There is a suspicion that in the slush, the grate of this dynamics will be clogged with mud from shoes, or even remember. In the ASX, the speaker is more flat, planting and eating do not interfere.

In conclusion to the great joy of Andrei Andreevich, they drove along a huge puddle. With acceleration, both machines have equally easily coped with this task. It is clear that at Qashqai it was possible to stop at any time again and then go further, and on the ASX hardly. But we would have other configurations, there would be other results. While we were having fun by launching fountains, Olga rode nearby dense sand, evaluating the chassis.

And here is the moment of voting. I, of course, are for ASX. Well, I like him. Olga still remained true to the old dream: Qashqai! Son, don't let you down! What do you choose? Qashqai, dad. But why?! There is more spray from him!
