In the spring of this year, the one who carries the dreams appeared on the Russian car market - Nissan Qashqai. Actually, you can already think about the sale of your beloved, but modest car. You are waiting for new accomplishments, let a small, but clockwork crossover Kashkay waiting for his master in the cabin.

The price of the new product starts at $ 23 thousand. For this money, you get a worthy representative of the SUV class. Rather, a separate branch of this class, which has recently gained more and more popularity (especially in Europe), and which can be conditionally called super-compact SUV or pseudo-SUV. These are economical urban crossovers with increased road clearance, approximately corresponding to the C- or even B-class hatchbacks in size and layout, aggregated by engines relatively small volumes (1.4-2.0 liters) and endowed with the external appearance of the SUV in miniature. Among the typical representatives of this class Suzuki Ignis, Ford Fusion, Skoda Roomster, Fiat Panda, etc.

So Qashqai is, of course, not a real SUV, but rather the usual C-class hatchback, put on a high platform and received characteristic features of the SUV. But this is the step that will allow a dream to come true!

Large mirrors (with electric drives, as in adult fellow tribesmen) provide the best review in the usual road situation, and regular parking sensors (though equipped only with sound indication) noticeably helps with parking. In our configuration, the car was equipped with a convenient and modern solution by an electronic chip key. Close, open or start a car only if you have a keychain in your driver’s pocket. The rubberized buttons on the doors and on the trunk allow you to avoid any contact with the armor. A large road clearance and moderately hard suspension allow you to quickly overcome a small off -road, amusing against the babies stolen nearby.

I really liked the CVT transmission due to the absence of fixed qashqai gears accelerates extremely smoothly, without any shocks accompanying speed switching in ordinary hydromechanical automatic transmission. Of course, the laudatory ode cannot be all -consuming. Qashqai has weak sound insulation, especially for wheeled arches. The streets wet after snow with the rain created a complete sensation of an open window in the cabin. The ceiling of the car is low (compared to full -fledged SUV) and conceals a feeling of space. In other words, Qashqai is not for tall drivers suffering from claustrophobia. Among the less significant disadvantages, it is worth noting a strange story with MP3 in the musical system. Nissan takes care of the safety of its customers, and in any configuration of the car, there is a Bleutooth interface to communicate with your mobile phone, which allows you to talk without looking up from the control (Hands Free). But such a technologically not new and simple option for CD players as the ability to reproduce mp3 files is available only in the top version for $ 32 thousand. This is not pleasing.

In expensive configuration - Le Tecna Pack, which is more expensive than the LE+ version with a multimedia display on which the image from the rear view camera is projected during parking, and the possibility of playback mp3 is also provided.

As soon as I drove off the car dealership, I fell into the cork. Having overcome only one quarter in an hour, I managed to study all the buttons in detail. It is convenient to control the separate climate control, only the dissipation of the buttons in the traditional Nissan style confuses. Why not compose them more logical? The buttons on the steering wheel can be controlled not only by music, but also by a cruise control, it is a pity of manual gear petals. Four electric windows, but the car is only for the driver. The audio system with 6 speakers and the built -in Vluetooth function plays very pleasantly. It is felt that she was not just stuck, but set up, given the specifics of the internal space. But then the question arises: why not mp3? Why is this a prerogative only maximum configuration? Another unattainable option as an ashtray. She is not. Instead of a cigarette lighter, there is a plug with a 12V inscription. Eh, they do not like smokers in Nissan!

Plastic in the salon to the touch is more pleasant than in appearance, the leather salon looks respectable, but if my will, I would choose a fabric option. The leather chair is more slippery, cold in winter, and heats up in summer. For me, my skin is only one plus to clean it easier than the fabric.

On good asphalt, the car goes very quietly, hiding the true speed, but it is worthwhile to appear joints or pits with sharp edges, as the suspension begins to give up ahead of time. In a speedy turn, with irregularities under the wheels, the car jumps a little from the trajectory. It seems that Qashqai suspensions were tuned for European roads.

If the two -liter engine is twisted, then the speakers to break away from the flow, but the characteristic of the torque is from 2400 rpm. up to 5000 rpm. Pretty even. Despite the electric power, the steering is quite acute and informative. Conducted brakes that allow you to slow down very effectively even before ABS is triggered. The review in the rear mirror limits the narrow glass, but there are parking sensors, and the side mirrors are simply different! Large size, with heating, and it is worth pressing the button in the parking lot and Qashqai presses them to the body. On the rear seats are enough space for the legs. Due to the full-sized spare, the trunk is significantly raised, but its volume is enough to purchase products for a week. At night, the devices are illuminated by pleasant white light, in order to increase safety, the headlights on all versions are automatically turned on with the key turn.

Qashqai is available in front and all-wheel drive versions. In the latter case, the traculation operates in three modes: 2WD with front drive wheels, 4WD - the rear wheels are turned on when slipping or a sharp start from a place and 4WD Lock with a hardly blocked coupling. With all -wheel drive, Qashqai can challenge not only the city elements, but also suburban. Of course within reasonable limits. Restrictions are imposed by highway and rather long overhangs that limit geometric cross -country ability. For the sake of interest, I tried to climb a steep hill with green grass sprinkled with snow. Put the 4WD Lock mode, mentally introduced the skid wheels and went. Qashqai surprised. He climbed onto the hill the first time without slipping. A high clearance will allow you to go to the country even in the worst weather, overcoming the cracked road.
During the test drive, fuel consumption ranged from 11.5 to 14 liters, quite a lot for a car, but acceptable for an all-wheel drive crossover. Kashkai is perfect for the role of a single car in the family.
