Although, given the quality and very important in such situations, the cost of the product proposed by the Nissanists, this is not at all surprising.
So, what kind of beast is this Nissan Qashqai? Speaking with a dry technical language, a compact station wagon of increased patency with a 20-centimeter road clearance and the possibility of an optional installation of a full-wheel drive system. If you connect the imagination and look at the car from the point of view of a potential buyer, then the picture becomes renovable. The Japanese, not alienly, placed their brainchild between compact crossovers like the same X-Trail or Tucson and the hetchbes of the segment C, addressing it to those who have already grown from the golf class, but to the weighted average, in our understanding, the SUV has not yet grown . However, the demand for this car in the market is mostly due not so much by its dimensions as a combination of more than an attractive price tag and a fairly adult exterior, the main topics of which were at one time in Nissan Murano. Of course, we can say that the anthrape appearance is already unoriginal, but, on the other hand, for a car with a base value of a little more than $ 20,000, this is only a similarity to the benefit. At least few of his competitors can boast of the same emotional, honest, deprived of pseudo -like glamor design.
The interior of the novelty stylistically fits into the appearance of the car, as they say, without a bitch without a bitch, but it looks much calmer. Which is generally explainable, since the Japanese initially dragged Qashqai not under themselves, but under conservative in most Europeans. And although there was no place that has already become traditional for Nissan cars, there was no place, call the Qashqai salon pale tongue does not turn. Tevolon’s strict utilitarian front panel, graphically correct, as if a visor visor outlined by a compass ... Everything is solid and presentable. The cup holders, various buttons and switches in themselves are individual, but this, oddly enough, only emphasizes the advantages of the style of the cabin as a whole. However, the Japanese allowed themselves a little prank. The panel of the crossover instrument panel is clearly owed to its bicapolar design by a motorcycle scale. The perky bright orange eye in the center is Nissan's own find. The interior revives, but does not spoil the overall picture.
It is interesting that, inferior to most competitors in external dimensions, inside Nissan does not seem close at all. This, of course, is not a pro -American Murano, but for five passengers there is a place here. The spaces for the legs and feet will be enough even with fully extended front seats. There is nothing to say about the front riders. A successful chairs profile provides passengers as much as possible in these conditions, and the control ranges at the same time initially remove all sorts of restrictions on growth and complexion ...
The chassis settings should also please everyone. The suspension at first glance seems to be clamped, however, given the high center of the severity of the crossover, this is very handy minimal. At a completely acceptable level, smoothness is also ensured. True, on a grader, resonant fluctuations reach passengers almost in its original form. But here the Japanese had to choose: either dynamic security or absolute comfort. Naturally, they preferred the first option, since the native element of this auto asphalt. Here Nissan reveals all his trump cards. The main one of them is a top 2-liter 141-horsepower engine, in our case, aggregated also with a branded unavailable variator. The dynamics of the crossover, the second hundred, is provided by this tandem, it exchanges the second hundred in about 11 seconds, and does it powerfully and evenly, without significant failures and pauses. The transmission promotes the engine almost from the start, reducing its pressure only after 120130 km/h. For a variety, the driver can be drunk manually, but this will not significantly affect the development of the situation in any case, the electronics will work both faster and more logical.
With such a quickness, a full -wheel drive system also operates. In Qashqai, it is implemented in the same way as the X-Trail: by means of an electromagnetic coupling, which transfers to the rear wheels in normal mode when slipping the front ones. Back, however, up to 50% traction is transmitted here. The connection occurs quickly and imperceptibly, so that the driver is often not able to determine whether he goes to the front or complete on the front. This dilemma can be resolved by forced blocking, although it will have to move at a speed of not higher than 30 km/h, otherwise the brains will independently give a command to transition to Auto mode.
In general, it is better not to move out on the blurry forest road. And a gravel lane covered with snow rim of asphalt, a snowdrift in the yard? Qashqai will cope with such troubles without hesitation, but he does not need more. He takes his own that, as a rule, we are most expensive, car younger, prettier and cheaper than many competitors. That is why not only the top, but also the most mild versions of the crossover with front-wheel drive and a simple 1.6-liter engine will find their buyer.
