The new index hides an additional, third row of seats, large dimensions and a rose price. How does the new Qashqai intend to attract fresh blood?
Kashkai+2 still caresses the eyes of the lines of the body already, but something has changed in it. He became heavier, more arrogant and larger. To make sure that this is not a fraud of vision, it is enough to compare the dimensions of two models: the length is 4315 mm versus 4525 mm, the wheelbase is 2630 mm versus 2765 mm, the rear overhang increased, the window line has changed. The width remained the same, the car grew in height, but not so significantly: 30 mm. The rear doors expanded by 135 mm. The novelty moved away from compact crossovers and waved to the Murano class. And it benefited her.
Despite the familiar appearance, the new model looks fresh and relevant. Especially there is a porridge+2 white color, which is shaken by the factory tinting of the rear glasses and scarlet stains of the lamps.

Nevertheless, a feeling of greater stability is created on the road than in a five-seater crossover, and in the dynamics of Kashkai+2 it is not inferior to the younger older brother: the car still does not provoke an active ride, but allows you to stay in the stream without tension.
 
Despite the grown dimensions, the novelty boasts the same quality, which so attracted fans of the usual five -seater version with a surprisingly accurate sense of dimensions. The ladies who liked the first Kashkai in this regard will like the new one. Gorgeous large side mirrors play the hand of visibility, completely covering the picture around the crossover. It is more difficult to feel the back of the car, but here the rear view camera comes to the rescue, who reaches its duties with a bang.
 
Qashqai+2 is conceived as a roomy crossover for a large family, they say, and there are so seven places, no less. But in such a configuration, the luggage compartment behind the back of the third row resembles Supermini Fiat 500, even not to shove the bag. A large family will not be able to take baggage with them. But how many opportunities for transformation of the interior is offered by Nissan!
The third row is formed in the proportion of 50/50, you just need to understand the difficult system of straps, and this is not so simple. With both folded seats, 550 liters of useful space are freed, which is 90 liters more than the usual maxillary. And if you remove the middle row, it will be difficult to figure out that it is transported in this almost a freight car with a volume of 1520 liters with a flat floor! So it turns out that the new Kashkai won primarily in a cargo one than in the passenger and at the same time seven -seater configuration is always possible and sometimes can really help out.
