Nissan NP300 test drive since 2007 pickup

Nissan NP300

The full load test is serious. Will the loaded Nissan NP300 be able to break away from the ground? Sixteen Tons Blues Covered was born in the pioneer camps of the Soviet Union and spun in my head when we loaded to the Nissan NP300 Pick-UP pickups.
The recent experiment to load the closest competitor of the Mazda BT-50 ended with a rumpled roof when braking barrels of water was printed into the rear wall of the truck cab. Then this did not prevent Mazda from cope with the maximum weight, but it was scary to maneuver. Ballast raised the center of gravity of the car and greatly unloaded the front, because of which I tried to drive only in a straight line. Today, when it was the turn to check the NP300, we were more prepared.

Creeping control
The first time we tried Nissan NP300 Pick-up three months ago, and the meeting was quite cool. Management did not please. The settings of the chassis and steering were plunged into despondency. The truck remained one chance to prove himself with ballast in the back. As experienced people, we threw out traumatic plastic barrels (which we used to download earlier) and got a soft tank of 1000 liters, which also lowered the center of gravity of experimental vehicles. And moved to the field.
How he went! Not a single competitor stood nearby! I went to the relief, turned on the first increased, then second and third. Excellent and without any attempts. He switched to a low row and removed his leg from the gas pedal to press the accelerator, the truck rode himself. I remembered that the last time I went in the same way on the Toyota LC200 with its crawling control, allowing you to move around the off -road with a given speed without touching the gas.

The first reduced pulls in all pickups, but at the NP300 I turned on the second, third and fourth. In all modes without pogazovka, the car rode along the crossed terrain as on asphalt. And in the relatively steep slides in the first or second, he also climbed independently. This would not be surprising if it were not for a ton on board.
Again I return to the correspondence comparison with Mazda BT-50. Why didn't she seem so tracted? After all, she has a similar volume, and the moment is 30 nm even more. I had to delve into the materiel. We requested data about rivals. It turns out that the Nissan transmission is more cargo. Home Transfer 1: 4.4 (Mazda 1: 3.7). In addition, the level of emission has BT-50 Euro-4, and the NP300 Euro-3, and the cleaner the diesel engine, the weaker it is on the bottoms. Ecology is good, but it would be better to make a ban on the use of disposable dishes and plastic bags.

Matter: Nissan NP300

Nissan is also more profitable
Maybe use Nissan for off -road tuning? After all, we know one Russian boy who was engaged in the repair of Nissan pickups in New Guinea. He spoke of them: the devices are indestructible. Yes, and the body elevator is completely easy. The main thing is not to forget that the standard protection of the gas tank, although iron, is on the two bolts and is very remembered. The steering bipod and handout also require additional protection costs.

However, the manufacturer insists precisely on the commercial use of their transport. Therefore, if we are talking about the transportation of heavy goods, and even in difficult conditions, we definitely choose Nissan. And when the comfort and handling of Mazda is more important. And we will not forget that the change of oil on Zoom-Zoom every 5000 km, and the NP300 is two times less.
