But how then it’s nice to get a new, more significant and highly paid position, isn't it? Nissan Murano has grown to the first promotion.What does the car cycle usually look like? Starting in production, restyling, deregistration, new model. The first -generation Nissan Murano got to Russia only in 2005, a couple of years after the start of sales in the United States, and restyling passed the second phase. Maybe that's why the new Murano is so similar to the previous one? Stupid assumption? Then this, it is more realistic: most likely, Nissan decided that the very changed new enemy of a good old. And the fact that the old Muarno was good is pointless to dispute. The unprecedented activity of gray dealers in relation to this model from 2003 to 2005, when Russian buyers were deprived of the opportunity to officially buy this crossover, confirms this. And after 2005, sales were constantly only growing, the age almost prone for the car did not obscure.
That first Murano and now many people like it. Its special-champional silhouette with a strong slope of the radiator grill and windshield and a characteristic fracture of the window sill in the rear is distinguished from a huge off-road-parquer-religious crowd on the streets of the city. It was cities, because Murano, despite the powerful 3.5-liter engine and all-wheel drive (there were also front-wheel drive modifications in America), who was never going to conquer impassability. This is a typical city car for those countries where they are not used to and have not learned to appreciate the space on the roads, primarily for the USA and Russia.
The new Murano gained solidity and dwells, like a middle -level manager, who received a higher and sedate position, who acquired a family and laid down in status. It is especially noticeable on massive, bloated wheel arches. But at the same time, our boss bought a suit more expensive all the panels of the body new, they have more gloss and style. And on his nose, he now flaunts a very strange shape in an expensive frame of a unique chrome radiator grill. A backpack hanging on the back of the manager in the form of a trunk rubber and rear vertical lanterns changed a more stringent case of the fifth door made in the same style with the Qashqai model, and the triangular lights occupied a more familiar horizontal position.
But still, in almost all angles, the features of that young, not burdened by the family and the position of a manager, who could easily come to work in the morning, without sleeping after a nightclub, are visible. This is not surprising, because the proportions and even many sizes remained the same. So, the width, height and wheelbase have not changed at all. Only the length increased by 64 mm, mainly due to new bumper. What a disco is now, what is a stormy evening with friends. If the club, then only VIP-lounge in a cozy chair of a completely updated salon. Instead of a bottle of beer in the hand, a glass of single -soil whiskey. Instead of KENT cigarettes in the teeth of COOHIBA COVINA.
Instead of playful motorcycle devices of the former Murano, a calm and well -read dashboard, as on the Teana model. The steering wheel is from her. And in general, the crossover salon is very reminiscent of such a tribe sedan (recall that both Murano and Teana are built on the same platform D of the Renault-Nissan alliance). The same feeling of excellent quality, comfort and good sound insulation, so necessary for a person who occupies a serious social situation. By the way, if, after a hard day's work, he wants to take a break from people and just see the DVD, then he will have two screens one on his disposal on the central console, and the other in the ceiling before the second row of seats. The first of them is also equipped with a perfectly working navigation system in Europe with very understandable graphics. If this is bored, then you can just admire the stars through a huge panoramic roof.
Despite the career growth, Murano does not want to grow old with soul and body. And although the engine and transmission remained essentially the same 3.5-liter V6, the endless CVT Xtronic variator and all-wheel drive All Mode 4x4-I, they are significantly modernized and improved. Power and torque grew, and the work of the variator has become even smoother. The manual regime is an unnecessary whim for a serious person, the transmission constantly supports optimal traction. But imitation of stepping is not always justified. Especially annoyed by hanging at 6000 rpm. With intensive acceleration, the engine yells as announced. Maybe in this mode the dynamics is better, but this clearly falls out of the overall atmosphere of comfort and dimensionality of life. Full -wheel drive, which is now capable of at speeds up to 80 km/h preventively connect the rear axle, can only help on the floor, in slightly more difficult conditions it will be powerless.
Apparently, noticing the already mentioned abdomen, the boss decided to go to the gym and pump up the suspension. Murano uses more aluminum details to reduce unsprown masses. In front updated Macpherson, at the back is a completely new multi -link. But the program of classes in a rocking chair Nissan is sparing. Therefore, the suspension settings are clearly shifted towards comfort. The controllability of the crossover cannot be called sharp. The steering has a very conditional feedback, and the rolls are great in turns. Well, on a straight line, Murano, like a cruiser, assertively swims forward, barely swaying on the waves of asphalt, literally lulling his passengers.
So what in the end? Undoubtedly, Murano deserved this increase. He earned a good reputation and large sales of the first generation. Those who used to want to purchase this car, but did not do this only because of the obsolescence of the model, should not turn away from the new Murano, he retained many features of his predecessor and also acquired a lot of new, albeit not noticeable at first glance. The appearance in Russian car dealerships is scheduled for the beginning of next year, and we are already interested in what position the next generation crossover will take?
