At the 1998 Geneva Automobile Salon, the new subspecies of Nissan Micra was presented to the public, who survived in the process of natural selection and most adapted to survival in the stone jungle of modern cities.
The dimensions remained unchanged - life proved that they have little effect on survival, and sometimes directly contribute to it. Especially recently, when humanity has woke up with a taste for miniaturization of surrounding objects - whether it be a video camera, a cell phone or a car.
Mimicry was reflected in a change in form and appearance - this helped merge with a rapidly changing environment. Additional eyes appeared - fog lights in a apron, a modern asymmetric shape of moldings on the doors and a new radiator cladding.
In order not to be eaten by more prepared enemies, Nissan Micra was forced to grow additional internal organs to strengthen symbiosis with a person. Four -channel ABS, air conditioning, airbags and electric mirrors and glasses appeared. Everything is like large.
HABITAT
The adaptability of any organism can only be tested in the environment. For the purity of the experiment, Nissan Micra was placed in three different environments, the combination of which is its habitat. Firstly, these are high-speed highways, according to which the experimental had to run 400-500 kilometers per day. The kid easily kept the average speed of 145-150 km/h, proudly overtaking high-speed tourist buses and all derivatives of Spanish automotive industry with proud SEAT. He sold only to more powerful representatives of the automobile fauna - BMW, Mercedes and others.
The crowd of Barcelona streets on the density of the automobile flow and the impudence of taxi drivers can compete with Delhi and Lagos. Moscow after this chaos seems to be a car paradise. Here Micra feels like a fish in water. Easily squeezes into the smallest gap in the parking lot. If necessary, briskly accelerates from a traffic light or abruptly jumps from a row in a row, causing respect for the untreated black and yellow taxi drivers and the stream of unusable Spanish expressions among other drivers.
The dirt roads of rural Spain and the foothills of the Pyrenees differ from their native laes only in the absence of dirt. A rolled rocky path can suddenly turn into two deep ruts left by either Roman chariots or local analogues of the Belarus tractor. So you need to look at both, because the responsibility for the life and health of a small iron friend lies entirely with you. All obstacles of not higher than 10 cm Micra overcame easily and carefree, but entering the rut is fraught with a torn anterior apron.

The front seats Micra, like ladies' gaskets from the mentioned advertising, have wings. Well, not the wings, but an additional roller in the front and the ribs of lateral support, which give the seats a resemblance to the real sports recaro.
Secondly, all controls are surprisingly compactly located. You do not have to pull your hand far to turn on the air conditioner or configure the receiver to your favorite wave. Of course, the small size of Nissan Micra played a role here. But maybe this is the charm of this machine?
