But, for the above reasons, I decided not to take risks, I chose a moderate driving manner, and the car, despite my cool disposition, very quickly made me understand that there was nothing to be afraid of it by and large. For the sake of this, I had to go to cut the rear seat into two parts in the place where the central tunnel that is quite bulging inside passes. In a word, only two passengers can accommodate in the back seat. The seat is covered with artificial skin, the headrests are not there either, but plus it is located in such a way that even I, whose growth is not too large (168 cm), and then literally rested my head in the rear window. In fairness, it is worth noting that the distance between the knees and the back of the front chair was not so small, but there was simply nowhere to put the legs themselves. When the car moved (I continued to sit at the same time), I began not only to throw me, but also to swing from side to side. And this boring road noise in the ears! In a word, I clearly understood for myself: in this car, the rear seats are not full -fledged sitting places, but only in the case, as they say, in every fireless case.
Luggage department (2 points)
The rear trunk of the New GT-R is located quite high. I was not too lazy and measured the distance from the surface of the road to the edge of the luggage opening with an open cover. Well, when the tachometer shooter exceeded the mark of 1,500, then I immediately felt what it means to have an engine with a large working volume at my disposal. I also noticed that while the car followed the city streets, and its speed was also appropriate, the transition to increased gear was carried out at the engine speed of a little less than 2,000 revolutions per minute. Moreover, switching occurred smoothly, without jerks. And here I first thought that such a measured behavior of the car does not correspond to its appearance: it looks sharp, but behaves, I repeat as a decent young lady. However, what else is needed to move normally along the city streets and lanes?
Okay, I slowly get out on the high -speed highway, give gas to try how the car accelerates. When the engine overcomes a mark of 3,000 rpm., This is where it finally begins to show his true, cool disposition. In Normal mode, the suspension acts quite hard, and you only need to stumble on some kind of irregularity, a push is immediately felt in the cabin. It only saves that the body of the machine has a decent rigidity, so no special troubles follow this impetus. In a word, the push passes, but everything is at an acceptable level. When the car, more precisely, it seems to its driver that the shocks become too strong, you can choose the Comfort mode, and everything will be largely softened.
When the car flies along a high -speed highway with high speed, the body practically does not rotate around the longitudinal axis (there is no keile pitching), so that nothing prevents it from well and easily run strictly in a straight line. True, the 4WD system still makes itself felt, especially since the tires in which my car was shod did not cling too much to wet asphalt. So, frankly, sometimes I had to work out a little bit of the steering wheel. Unfortunately, I, as I said, could not try out the car on a dry road, so I do not presume to judge how good the controllability of the new GT-R is. Nevertheless, according to separate signs, according to the way she behaved on wet asphalt, we can assume that the car can really be controlled in an active manner, and nothing terrible will happen. Imagine, so I go to the turn and, not wanting to take risks, reduce the speed so that I do not bring me. I slightly turn the steering wheel and see that the front of the car also begins to slowly tick in the right direction. And this despite the fact that the weight of the car is rather large 1,740 kg, and inertia, in theory, should also be oh-woom. And, nevertheless, at this moment it is not crucial. Okay, at some point I feel that, it seems, the tires caught on the road quite firmly (although it is wet!) And I will give the gas pedal. And here I begin to understand that it is not at all common to turn the car into such, I would say, a relaxed manner, as, for example, turns Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. No, the wheels continue the bound rotation, each of them rowing under itself with the right force, and the car turns, remaining completely controlled. I don’t know how it is at super -high speeds, but when the speed is moderate, then, as my experience shows, the turn is performed so easily and elegant that, right, I want to say to myself: yes, it turns out, a real pros!. And that with the fact that this is actually not so, the main thing is that the driver felt confident, he has a mood, and what else is needed for driving in a sports manner to be pleasure? In addition, if, say, the driver clearly overdo it at speed, and the back of the car begins to enter, the VDC-R system (the security stability system) will correctly correct it, and he, confident, will not even notice this, I assure you .
