Family minivan is still not the most popular type of vehicle on our small car market. Sedans, station wagons, hatchbacks, even sports coupes are always please, but to single-volume models with increased cargo and passenger capacity, our customers cannot get used to in any way. The European example has long understood all the advantages that, thanks to the constructive features, almost all minivans have been understood there, and therefore, more and more often, many buyers abandon traditional cars in favor of micro and minivans. Although in general we have few family cars sold, since not every Belarusian family, and it is still softly said, can afford such a car.
Mazda MPV is far from a beginner in our market and has already managed to achieve certain successes, although the official sales of this car, in this generation, began less than two years ago. Then AG also tested the new MPV, only gasoline. And the fact that this car could offer the driver and passengers really liked it. Strange, but having lived negligently few, by the standards of car faces, Mazda MPV received the so -called Feyslifting in a free translation like a tightening of the face. We call this action restyling, but the essence of this does not change: the goal is a certain rejuvenation of the model. In such a simple way, designers are trying to modernize the car. Sometimes restyling applies only to external design, sometimes the interior is also changed, and sometimes there is an almost complete update of the model, including the replacement of most nodes and assemblies. However, for Mazda MPV, as a model is quite fresh and not even even that he was really to grow old, but even well -haired on the Minsk streets, this did not require this. The model just got new engines and a pretty face. So the expression of the tightening of the face here suits the most accurately ...
What generation Mazda MPV, the previous or current, looks better, you can argue to hoarse: both the old and updated model look very modern and fresh. For Minivan and five years, not age, and the penalty of the penultimate version of MPV has ended at all unusually quickly. Nevertheless, for buyers, this is of paramount importance. A car with a new face a priori is prestigious than the previous one, even if it costs almost half more. After all, the modernized car shows that it is completely new, and about a model that is produced at least a couple of years, this can definitely not be said that this is already a Baushka ...
Apparently, this is what Mazda MPV designers thought during modernization. From the previous generation, the updated car differs literally with strokes, which only a specialist or owner of the same car last year is able to see. A little more convex panels of the front, new lighting equipment, altered bumers here, in principle, and that’s all. There was also no revolution inside: everything is as a last quality and without designer or ergonomic mistakes. But this is just about the front seats, in the cabin as a whole ... Let's start with the fact that on the very last, third row of seats is terribly uncomfortable: it seems to be very large, and the middle -row chairs are regulated in the longitudinal direction. Nevertheless, even pushing the right armchair of the second row completely forward, I hardly sat on the last row, and judging by the space between these very seats, it is also difficult to climb through the luggage compartment. But passengers of the third row, in contrast to those sitting on the second, have the opportunity to significantly increase the level of comfort if they want to significantly increase: their services are an individual control panel of air conditioning, the nozzles of which are located on the ceiling. Thus, while the front passengers suffer from the heat, waiting for them to cool air from the front deflectors, the rear already enjoy the coolness of Breeze. In the same place, near the climate control unit, there are a couple of cup holders. But the pen, the only one that you can hold on, sitting on the rear chair, is located only on the left on the ceiling, it was not possible to find the same on the right. But for each passenger there are seat belts ...
I really liked the new turbodiesel, which will be installed on the new Mazda6. Soft, unwilling, quite painful, it is perfect for those who like to drive long distances. Although in the city this motor seemed to me quite frisky and convenient: acceleration is very swift (for minivan) and there are no complaints about dynamics. Still, the difference between gasoline and diesel versions in acceleration from a place to a hundred is ... exactly a second! And fuel consumption, by the way, is much higher in a gasoline car. And everything would be fine, only for a more complete compliance with the image of the family model of this Mazda MPV it would be nice to put an automatic checkpoint, then it would be a really real American, comfortable Van. And in this embodiment, with mechanics, the car is too much the driver's attention distracting that he can provide decent dynamics.
The motor pulls, as I already said, very good, but it begins well after the tachometer arrow approaches 2, and before that a complete failure. In the jargon of riders, this is called turboyam until the turbine does not promote, the engine simply does not want to actively accelerate. When you touch the place, this feature of the motor is not very noticeable: the transmission is short, and barely touch the gas pedal, as the tachometer arrow literally takes off above the indicated limit, and therefore there is no failure. But if you were driving in the third or fourth gear, and then the speed fell, and you decided to switch to a lower gear, then choose it, this lowest gear, you need so that after switching the tachometer shooter is higher than the acceleration mark. It will be sufficient for overtaking or ahead. If the revolutions still fell, then the acceleration that will develop the car will even be difficult to call it: it just goes, but there is simply no acceleration. That is why I started talking about the machine: with this character of the engine, with its obvious dumps and bursts, the machine would come up with the way. Otherwise, Mazda MPV, as before, is a very interesting car. A beautiful minivan with a clockwork character, a spacious salon and a rather rich equipment than not an option for a solid company.
