Test Drive Mazda CX-5 since 2012 Crossover

Mazda CX-5. Let's play in the association?

In the segment of compact crossovers now closely, but Mazda CX-5 is still unchecked in it.

Perhaps this contributed to this that the five is a rather unusual car, from a rare breed of inexpensive sports crossovers. Although it also wants to write to the suite thanks to the name in the form of a diguristic index (probably someone has been remembered by large Audi Q7, Q5). And if the brother CX-7 is a solid and relatively calm car, although with sports features in character, the newcomer is clearly energetic and more lively, and then they do not remember the German crossovers, but the sports car MX-5. We dare to assume that the Japanese sought to embody in their newest models the Big Spirit of this baby, who became the most real legend and classics for almost a quarter of a century. As far as the Japanese managed to be at the end, it turned out for the car, and most importantly, how diverse it will respond in this review.

Portrait
From afar in the car you can learn and Mitsubishi ASX, and Nissan Qashqai, but, looking after, you understand that this is a completely distinctive and self-sufficient car. It is even sympathetic in its own way: the broken lines and cunning climbing on the sides make CX-5 unlike the remaining models of the Mazda line.
The interior is sustained and solid: dark tones, solid materials, competent ergonomics. There are some obvious borrowings from BMW, such as a characteristic instrument shield, as well as a joystick located between the front seats, similar to the IDRIVE system controller. There is no complaints about the complaints, but the noise isolation is quite mediocre.

On the go, the car fully justifies belonging to the Mazda brand: good brakes, live control, wary engine. The suspension may seem harsh, but it is rather a pleasant rigidity. The automatic box works noticeably better, clearer and faster than similar aggregates in older brand models.
