The automatic gearbox works quickly and smoothly, switching in the cabin is practically not noticeable. Acceleration in Er-Ixes increases avalanche-like, from calm, sometimes lazy from the bottom to a hurricane, which occurs after 4000 rpm and lasts almost until the cut-off. At the top, he is formidable and vague, low and meek. In proportion to the force of pressing the gas pedal, fuel consumption also changes. Even in the ultimately economical mode, when the ECO bulb on the dashboard goes out only during acceleration, the on-board computer showed at least 14 liters per 100 km of the way, well, if you arrange traffic lights and twist each transmission into the ringing, then the appetite of the 277-horsepower gear rings in an instant moment For 20 liters.


The back in Lexus is spacious, but luxury options such as heating or a separate multimedia system are not provided.

At the same time, whether you crawl at the speed of a horse -drawn cart, or rush along the high -speed highway, in the Lexus RX salon, silence, which completely abstracts from external factors. Therefore, I do not want to rush anywhere. Perhaps the strongest side of the Lexus RX trips over long distances. The impressive Mercedes smoothness and stability at any speed makes a Japanese crossover an excellent fellow traveler on the highway. The most visible difference that Lexus RX received during the last restyling is a new radiator grille.
