And for some reason, almost no one pays attention to the material such as Land Rover Defender. Although the raw materials are very suitable: the design of this car is so simple and unpretentious that the masters should flow drooling with one mention of Land Rover Defender. But no. After making sure that the ruler of the boost and the kings of the body kit would naturally turn from the English auto industry, and the homegrown builders of blues mobiles and words do not know this, in Solekhil themselves they themselves took up small -scale tuning.
BACK TO THE FUTURE.
The paradox, but the short -drawn Defender 90 is more expensive for dealers than a model with a base of 110 inches. For Russian dealers, a little more than $ 28 thousand should be laid out for a simple 90th 90th, while a long-play Defender will cost $ 22.3 thousand. But for Land Rover Defender Tomb Raider, the owner paid almost twice as much.
The uniqueness of these cars is primarily that there are only 90 of them in the world. They were collected manually in a special workshop of the plant, and all of them are decorated with a round tin nameplate. It depicts balistic signs symbolizing the addiction of the godfather, Lara Croft, to mysterious artifacts and the secrets of the universe. Even a specialist in the Museum of Arts of the East, but looks stylish, will not be able to say how to decipher these Masonic signs.
The rest is the usual Land Rover Defender, only brought by English engineers to the highest level of modern jeep construction. There is nothing supernatural in it. The body painted in the griffle-black color. Darkened glass. The full -time all -season rubber. A huge trunk on the roof and side-step on the front wings and steps. That's all external differences. But a knowledgeable person will understand that this is a difficult car.
Type effort.
A winch is regularly installed on Tomb Raider. And only on the example of this car it becomes clear how the factory installation differs from the homegrown. Firstly, only in factory-made conditions it is possible to carefully remove it under the front bumper. At the same time, the winch is fixed on the supporting frame, which guarantees the optimal distribution of traction in a critical situation. The owner may be sure that it will pull the car to the last, with the guarantee that neither the bumper nor the site under the winch will come off, crushing everything around him. Moreover, the winch is ideally connected to the electric network of the car. Tomb Raider has two batteries, and through a special relay they are connected into a sequential chain. In practice, this means that at first one battery is charged, then it turns off the network and the charge goes to the second battery. The category takes place in the reverse order. A proprietary chandelier is connected according to the same scheme.
Star shooting.
The trunk, whose area is equal to the area of \u200b\u200bthe roof, is officially called the shooting site. Who and at whom will shoot in the instructions for Tomb Raider are not indicated. By the way, a couple of pistols is also not included.
Respect is not the presence of this site, but its shape and method of attaching to the body. It is a design with four pipes in the corners. These pipes end with powerful heels, which are attached to the side ribs-reerons on the body of the car. Of the most revolutionary (for Defender, of course) options, it is worth noting the sports seats of the driver and the front passenger of Recaro, a regularly installed hatch (ordinary, mechanical) and - scary to say - air conditioning and electric windows. For real Defender fans, this list is considered blasphemous.
It remains to note the standard duralumin overlays with anti -slip notchs standardly installed on the front wings, steps and floor of the passenger department. The option is quite simple, available to the Armenian wizards from a cooperative garage. Only at the factory these pads not only glued, but also pre-put on glue mixture, which gives a guarantee of durability. And if they say that Defender in England is transmitted from fathers to sons, then Tomb Raider will serve his grandchildren.
