The premiere of the KIA SEED serial model took place back in 2006 at the Paris Motor Show. For the South Korean company, SEED became not just another novelty, but a real revolutionary product that marked a new direction of the brand development.


KIA’s focus on the old light says that the Kia Ced design was developed in the European studio in Rousselheim, under the guidance of the legendary Peter Schreyer, from which models such as Audi TT and the fourth Volkswagen Golf came out.

The European orientation of the model also proves the name Ceed itself, in which two abbreviations are hidden at once: Community of Europe and European Design (European Community and European Design). They came up with a small letter to write the name with a small letter rather for the greater recognition and memorization of the model.


Having debuted in 2006, Kia Ceed was famous for the European Asian and immediately gained recognition in the European market, including Russia. Despite the considerable age, the age of the CEED model is still popular in the Russian market. In 2011, Kia dealers sold almost 29 thousand sidov.

The first five -door Kia Ced hatchback came off the conveyor of the plant in Slovak Zhilina at the end of 2006. Six months later, the production of the CEED_SW station wagon started, and after a couple of months, the three -door Pro_Ced hatchback also saw the light.

Almost immediately after its appearance in Kia dealers, the CEED model was liked not only by Russian customers, but also to more picky Europeans. In 2009, Kia Ceed entered the four best-selling golf models. A year later, the KIA hechbek underwent a light restyling, which was primarily aimed at bringing the appearance to the common corporate style of the brand, the main feature of which was the branded Schryeri Radiator Grate Tiger.


The interior is not bad. The decoration uses a hard, but rather pleasant plastic, diluted with a soft rubberized top of the front panel.

Of course, even after restyling in design, Kia Ced does not claim the laurels of the most fashionable and bright hatchback in golf class. New generations of competitors are painfully futuristic. Despite this, a conservative European design is still relevant. This is proved by last year's sales: 28,868 units sold and the second place after the budget sedan Kia Rio.

Sid looks really not bad: the linzable optics of the head light squints in asia, the sides are emphasized by the reliefs of the wheel arches, and the feed is decorated with LED lights. The neutral appearance that does not cause a storm of delight, but does not give soil for criticism. In this regard, Kia Ced is a middle peasant, but the middle peasant is high -quality, worked out, they love them.


The space in the back is enough to place passengers of medium height with a small margin of knees.

The course set by the extermers is continued in the cabin. The front panel is outlined without unnecessary expression in compliance with the general style. The buttons of the audio system and the climate control of the central console are convenient and strictly structured, the steering wheel with swinging switches of the audio system functions is equipped with practical tides in the grip zone and lined with a tapeen, pleasant to the touch skin. The dashboard with white scales and a bloody halo around the speedometer is not only beautiful, but also read perfectly.

The front seats are dense and moderately rigid, the profile is not bad, the back has a basement adjustment. The landing is convenient, the rover of steering and seats is sufficient, good and visibility. But with lateral support, Kia Ced was pumped up, in the turns you have to grab the wheel tighter and rest against the site for the left leg.


The keys of the audio -symbols and the handles of the two -zone climatic installation are strictly symmetrical and well structured. It is convenient to use them. The tidy reads perfectly. There is a small armrest between the seats and two cup holders.

Places in the back without excess, but it is enough for a medium -sized driver to sit behind himself with a small margin in his knees. The sofa folds in parts. The volume of the trunk is small 340 liters.
