And now the presence in the range of diesel engines is not only almost automatically implied even among those who put sports and premium at the forefront of the image of the brands, but also creates its kings of the ball.

Sportsivity and premium precisely those slogans with which the Infiniti luxury brand went to conquer the markets. Even large crossovers of the FX line did not try to pretend to be SUVs: sports, dynamics, comfort! It is no wonder that for a long time they were not equipped with diesel engines. Firstly, it did not really fit with the image, and secondly, there was simply no suitable V6 in the Renault-Nissan alliance.

A turbodiesel three -liter V6 (with a factory index of V9X, which can confuse the uninitiated) created in 2010. The engine with the unusual angle of the collapse of cylinder blocks (65 degrees) and the manufacturing material (compacted gray cast iron CGI) turned out to be quite successful. With moderate (from the point of view of Russian taxation) capacity of 238 liters. With. It develops a torque of 550 Nm comparable to the Porsche Cayenne and more than the flagship of the FX FX50 family. It is not a good difference in economicality compared to the V6 gasoline gasoline: 3.2 l/100 km in favor of a diesel engine (the indicator is perhaps the same for the Audi Q7, and the same Cayenne is content with 2.7 liters of a diesel advantage), but in absolute numbers, an average Consumption of 9 l/100 km modest, alas not to be called. It turns out that the Mercedes ML is more gluttonous from classmates, but Audi, Porsche and BMW are more memorable in appetites!

And now the V9X did not just get under the hood of the premium asphalt crossover to our market, but also turned the FX30D into the king of the ball and in commercials, and at the representation of the Russian line of 2012 model year. Gasoline versions (333-horsepower FX37 and 400-horsepower FX50) even somehow remained in the shade, since at least exterior and interior updates are the same for everyone.

Having found memorable forms for FX at one time, Infiniti does not try to arrange revolutions, limited to light cosmetics. FX2012 externally differs from the predecessor only in front. The premium segment implies special attention to the fight against noise and vibrations, and in the FX30D this is not forgotten. And on the circle of FX30D, albeit not aiming, but does not allow you to forget that heavy fuel is working under the hood.

It is possible to turn about the fact that, apparently, for the sake of environmental requirements, the settings of the electronic gas pedal are not as linear as you might be expected. The seven -speed ADPP Adaptive Shift Control has steering wheel switches, but there is almost no need to contact them. The duet of the moment motor and quite a quick machine gun (by the way, without a winter mode, since initially the version is still European) is quite harmonious in normal mode, although they are slightly harsh in the decrease in gear in sports.

The suspension of ordinary versions is still a harsh-bondage. Sport equipment is implied with an adjustable CDC suspension with an even more asphalt mode that works fairly honestly and does not turn the car into a final stool.
