Hyundai Grandeur: You can't have a pardon to execute

Perhaps it is impossible for a comma after a word - Word is indignant, emphasizing the name of the article with green. I agree, is it really not enough only after, or before? Where to put a comma in the title, the test Hyundai Grandeur should still prove. And if possible, to convince that a business class is in Korean really seriously.

Translated from English Grandeur means splendor, wealth, luxury. Well, if you take into account that in E-class almost everyone can boast of such a set of qualities, there is nothing surprising here. But in Hyundai, another meaning of the word Grandeur - the nobility of origin
You are smiling? In vain, the Korean company has experience in producing business class cars. Another thing is that Europe has not appreciated this experience: the most advanced premium from Hyundai model is Centennial, - only in her homeland gained popularity.
In Russia, Koreans are especially tight on their feet in the compact class of the AcCent and Getz models beat sales records. But the Hyundai Grandeur sedan appeared less than two years ago, as they say, did not go: sales are sluggish. We are used to paying dearly not only for the filling, but also for Shilda, in a simple prestige of the brand. And here, alas, Korean manufacturers are far from leaders.
But in the elegant contours of Hyundai Grandeur the Korean still needs to be recognized! If you look at the car at the back of three quarters to give or take, the two -story back came out under the pen of Christopher Banlla, the main designer BMW! Only now, if you go in front, you literally come across the bored rectangles of headlights, pursed to the wings with a wings with a radiator grille. It looked, for example, Toyota Mark 2 ten years ago. So passers -by, exploring in passing the car from behind, turn indifferently, reaching the front line. It does not catch, does not surprise the design of Grandeur.
But the car is ready to sweat with the sides of an almost five -meter body to free up a place under the sun of the developing Russian market. The internal space is exactly what this magnificent competitors are ready to beat more eminent competitors. The back here is a little more spacious than in Toyota Camry or Nissan Teana, in addition, wide doorways and a high roof are planted in a free -free car even for the most solid (in dimensions) boss.
Will he like it inside? Perhaps the chef can get bored: a solid interior is fulfilled in good faith, but does not hide the memorable features in himself. The monumental front console is not too elegant, but quite convenient and pleases with large keys, the quality of plastic and skin does not raise questions. A good fashionable optimal panel of devices with large, well -readable scales, except that their xenon light is cold for the eyes.
A wide windowsill between the seats is full of excess plastic wood, but it is equipped with comfortable boxes.
But some interior elements seem to be in Grandeur by mistake. Small scores of the climatic system, and at the same time, tape recorders resemble such on Chinese calculators: blind, are full of small symbols and look cheap
Say, nit -picking? Perhaps yes, but for that kind of money I can and will find fault! However, it is difficult to find discontent on this, it is difficult to answer in Grandeur. And who considers the two-Dinsky radio from the cassette deck to find out that the Infinity (not automobile) company has specialized in the highest class audio equipment since 1967.
On the go, Hyundai Grandeur is more gravitated to imposing America than to the collected Europe. Dynamic acceleration? Yes, quite, but at the very beginning, get ready to meet with the sluggishness of the guidrotransformer of the machine gun. At the beginning of the movement you will shake slightly, then a tangible impetus to the transition to the second, after which a rather rapid set of speed. The steering wheel is responded with sufficient reactive effort, but again only at decent speed. If you practice steering in the city, the car will respond to your actions with some lazy, besides, Grandeur's heavy body loves to sway on irregularities. Otherwise, a very pleasant car in communication.
Sensitive brakes allow smoothly, and at the same time confidently upset the car, and security systems do not retreat too much in control. Most of all, in this regard, I liked ABS, which is paired with the Brake Assist system, helping to increase pressure in the brake system during emergency braking.
The work of the mechanism, even with a sharp slowdown, was barely surrendered by a light battle and chatting a sort of antipanic for the driver. The braking distance does not fail: 39 meters from 100 km/h to zero - one of the best indicators in the classroom. In general, if the chef crosses from the rear chair behind the wheel, the guard may be calm.
I must admit that most of the Hyundai problems with the Grandeur model lies in the field of stereotypes prevailing in the class of class E. Class E. Almost always all German, almost all of Japanese, selectively American, and strangers from whom the Korean manufacturer came, they do not like here. But is there a share of the guilt of the car itself? Perhaps a little yes. To become popular and respected in the premium, you need to be able to surprise: design, technical filling, comfort of Hyundai Grandeur did not surprise. But the ability of the Korean company to play in the premium class confirmed exactly.
Take the handle, and put the comma in the header after the word. The car deserves this.
