A little story
The prototype of the S2000 design was the Honda SSM (Sports Study Model) concept in 1995. The Honda S2000 itself debuted in 1999, to the 50th anniversary of the company. Its design used the latest Honda developments associated, in particular, with an enhanced open body, in-line 4-cylinder 16-valve engine with a VTEC gas distribution phase system (Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control), entered into the Guinness Book of Records.

At that moment, Ivan, the owner of another Honda S2000, was already starting atmospheric tuning of his car. The brains of AEM and the Walbro gasoline pump were bought, wheeled wheels were ordered, and a little later pistons, valves, connecting rods, etc. Seven nine months later, everything was ready to assemble the turbo engine. And while Cyril was preparing to do his Honda S2000, the tireless Ivan managed to collect and configure his own turbo.
 
Studying on other people's mistakes turned out to be profitable: a stock gear was torn on an Ivan’s car almost immediately, and Cyril postponed the assembly of the motor on his family for an indefinite time. After a couple of weeks, Vanya ordered a whale from Inline Pro. By the time the American whale successfully passed tests, July came. Having estimated how much time it takes to assemble the engine, the purchase of the necessary little things, and taking into account the fact that for the convertible for the year only five full months, Cyril decided to postpone the project until the fall. In October, he outlined the assembly of the power unit and order the remains. And suddenly Ivan called and offered to exchange the Honda S2000 Cyril with a hill of spare parts for his finished monster. The hero of our story did not think long and agreed.

Turbo S2000

It was possible to cope with the problem of the gearbox with the help of an Inline Pro whale and monetary injections.
 
Separate song Settings. Honda was engaged in Dima Murygin in R2racing. By the way, froze on a stand with a spring for 1.3 bar (a boost controller is still absent, the pressure is mechanically set, a spring) showed 570 forces without temperature correction. Ivan built a car for a year and two months, nevertheless, the project is still at the initial stage of implementation. Carbon trunk and spoiler, rear and front titanium spacers were ordered. DRIVE
