Millimeter per millimeter. I remember, a few years ago, when Chinese firms were engaged in a direct plagiarism, even copying the initial samples, managed to swell and make worse. But all this has a little attitude towards real reality, because at regular Chinese tires with the apocryphal title GiticoMFort 228 (dimension 215 / 55R16) can not be any storage of speech. Even an increase in pressure up to 2.5-2.7 bars helps not much, although, of course, the machine stabilizes. But at the expense of comfort.

Obviously, with such wheels there is no point in talking about the nuances of manageability of Emgrand. At what point, the slip will begin, how intensively it will develop on the GitICoMFort tires for anything you can not guess.

There is another limiting factor: the hyperproductiveness of the power steering. It is so hyper that the steering wheel does not give feedback at all. And I do not need to blame me in the tendency to categorical estimates: Exactly that is the case! Completely empty zero, no return reaction to the taxi. As in a cheap computer simulator. And, which is characteristic, in the representation about this problem, they know, knew from the very beginning, before the start of sales of Emgrand in Russia. This bunch of an empty steering wheel plus bad tires and makes Emgrand affordable to any tests for stability and handling. It is annoying, because both is quite simple to fix. But the Chinese, knowing about problems, continue the policy of non-interference in the design.

Motor on the declared 126 hp is not lucky, partly this feeling is inspired by the most environmentally friendly gear ratios in the transmission. For dynamic ride, the gas pedal must be stupid in the floor, no intermediate positions are used. And anyway, the crankshaft is spinning with Lenza, as if the Chinese inserted a gum between the pedal and the throttle, and she pulls out all the time, slightly covering the throttle. It would be possible to suspect designers in a not very thorough setting of E-gas, but the paradox is that the Emgrand has a mechanical drive remained.

And he, as is known, not only does not need fine tuning, but also poorly correlated with Euro-4 standards, which is certified by Emgrand. Unfortunately, the full cycle of tests according to the Euro-4 standard (including a resource test for 80,000 km) in Russia is not carried out, by satisfying the results of European tests. And it is possible that Geely supplies several other configurations to Europe ...

Now a few more private, briefly.

UMGRAND has a kind of aerodynamics: every dirt is suitable for the rear window, and it quickly ceases to be transparent. In the hatchback, it is clear and forgiven, but the same sedan, it is not formed to attach the back janitor. And I want.

The application is not bad, the quality of manufacture in Geely is clearly growing, but the chassis is preparing the chassis makes it possible to show all its potential.
