Designers tried to give the appearance of the new Mondeo more high cost and sports. However, not to the detriment of recognition: a small, but beautiful name Kinetic design continues to remain on the agenda.
The new model boasts an increased size of the lower part of the false radiator grate, which has a trapezoidal shape. The upper part of this mesh has already become. The muzzle of the car acquired integrated LED running lights. Changes found on the lateral projection of the car are also designed to add the image of the car of high cost. It so happened that the phrase of Germany’s road in the minds of most of our compatriots is tightly associated with the concept of the absence of speed restrictions. Another cliche related to the German road network is the ideal smoothness of literally each meter of the last line. Therefore, any of ours, for the first time on the roads of this country, experiences a feeling of disappointment of one degree or another. After all, even here, you can drive for all money far from everywhere. Much more often areas with a limitation of 120 km/h. And secondary roads may well demonstrate to the naive Russo tourist way to pain in the coccyx of asphalt patches. Although you, of course, you won’t find frank pits here, we managed to test the Ford Mondeo both on the autobahn and on the village tracks. By the way, for the future: do not be surprised if you see here neatly paved ruts around some corn field. These paths are designed only for burgher agricultural machinery ...

And Mondeo can now be equipped with a modernized 2-liter Ford Motor of the Ecoboost family: this turbocharged unit now gives 240 horses 40 more than the old version. However, no one removes the 200-horsepower motor from the agenda.
Options for transforming the rear seats are quite standard. The absence of a hatch in the back of the seat can disappoint the ski lover.
Both 2.0-liter eco-busts are aggregated only with a six-speed robotic POWERSHift KP with double clutch. According to company representatives, he consumes only 6 liters of diesel fuel per 100 km of mileage in a mixed cycle. In relation to our test drive, the cycle turned out to be not very mixed, and therefore it did not work out to check the branded data. But it was possible to grab the autobahn, as they say, for all the money and slightly sly rubber on rural roads in the vicinity of Munich. In both cases, Mondeo left the impression of just a very good car. At the speeds of 180200 km/h, when many competitors of classmates of famous brands begin to clearly hint the driver, they say, it would be nice to slow down, because the supply of controllability of the machine is rapidly falling with every kilometer per hour, the brand new Mondeo calmly makes it clear that everything is under control. In high-speed turns on a European-fingered rural rural paths, a not particularly experienced driver at the wheel of this car can even feel like a Sebastian Loeba, he is so on the asphalt and obedient in corners. A considerable merit in this belongs to a pendant equipped with a system of change in stiffness. The difference in the behavior of the machine in the suspension settings in comfort and sport modes, of course, is unprincipled, but in corners it is captured clearly.
In short, any serious complaints about the updated Ford Mondeo cannot be formulated. However, some particularly bright highlight in it is unlikely to be able to find. In general, Ford Europe got a normal, in German, solid and balanced just a car.

Strictly speaking, it is difficult to name the first appearance of the first appearance in the public of the new Ford Mondeo, which took place at the Moscow Auto Show-2010. Last year, the world was a new Ford S-Max minivan, traditionally built on the same base with Mondeo. The stylistics of both interiors and exterior of these machines has always been distinguished only by the nuances associated with different types of bodies. Therefore, having already been driving a fresh S-Max, there were no special expirins from acquaintance with Mondeo. However, the hope for the already mentioned shift of the sensation of a new car was present and, by and large, was justified.
