So, the success of Nexia at one time was associated with the fact that it was the cheapest foreign car. However, it's not entirely true: after all, the direct predecessor Matiz is still cheaper - miniature Tico. However, a couple of years ago, such compact cars could not count on popularity - Nexia is much better suited to the role of a universal family car. But now the appearance of Matiz can slightly change the alignment on the market. First, an increasing number of residents of big cities begin to understand the advantages of modest dimensions and are not complex about their sizes. Over time, this trend will only increase. Secondly, created by the famous ITALDESIGN Matiz looks much more stylish and modern than long-standing Tico. And for a small car, which is traditionally perceived as female, the original appearance is the dignity that many flaws takes place. Third, the price.
 
Now Uzdaewoo can afford to sell Matiz at a price of six thousand dollars, which is quite comparable to the cost of Nexia couple-triple years ago, when simple configurations were offered for $ 6,600. Now she is true, it is a little more expensive - from seven thousand. What is quite logical: why compete the cars of one brand?
Naturally, we compare the prices of machines produced by Uzdaewoo - they are most often more likely cheaper than the same models of Daewoo from other countries chained in Russia.
Beauty is a terrible force. The design of Nexia is already difficult to argue with classmates just because of age. If you do not count the Zhiguli type machines created on the basis of FIAT 37-year old, Nexia, the base for which the Opel Kadett, who debuted 28 years ago, is one of the oldest designs of our market. Although it is impossible not to recognize that the modernization conducted in the mid-90s with the replacement of the front and rear parts of the body was rather successful - noticeably visited the car. New headlights, hood and front wings are performed extremely successfully, the trunk is a little worse, but it can be forgiven for just an incredible volume. Five hundred thirty liters is more than a Volga or even the notorious 140th Merine! The situation is somewhat worse with the lounge - although the driver's workplace is quite convenient, the design of the instrument panel is too frank in part of the age of the machine. However, some Russian models are still older ...
Matiz looks more interesting and fresh outside and from the inside.

Of the disadvantages it is worth mentioning the old-fashioned panel of instruments, unavoidable rear seat and a low level of pleasure from management. But inexpensive!

Nexia suspension is better in irregularity, but the machine is prone to a longitudinal squabble - however, quite within the limits permissible. It has an acceptable level of controllability and stability, although within its class you can find serial models that provide more pleasure when driving ... just now they are at least twice as expensive. What the older sister naturally inferior to Matiz is in maneuverability. But here you can not do anything - just as with the size of the cabin.
 
Paradoxically, but Matiz is likely to be even better from the point of view of Pentility: the base is short, there are almost no base ... And the narrower tires will provide the best grip with a slippery coating.
Naturally, Matiz loses Nexia in dynamic characteristics, because in terms of the volume and power of the engine, it is almost twice the Nexia, and its mass is only one and a half times less. No matter how insulting, but somewhat inferior to Matiz and Tico - the predecessor was easier, and their engine on versions for our market is the same. So for modern style and comfort will have to pay a second or two during acceleration to hundreds. However, the Korean matiz uses the injection versions of this motor, which develop more than 50 hp. With them, the car can be agile. However, even with the Matiz carburetor engine, it turns out to be sufficiently dynamic in some situations - 40--50 km / h is gaining a little faster than most neighbors in the stop line at the traffic light. To do this, you will have to work a bit of the accelerator pedal and the gear lever - the small engine shows well its abilities if it should be turned off. At the same time, he, as was to expect from a three-cylinder engine, happily grumbling, which gives the severity of sensations - a real DRIVER'S car!
 
For different families. In general, we can say that both cars are suitable for use as family. Only families should be different. If you want to focus on the current stereotype that the car is used mainly for periodic departures to the cottage in full and with baggage - then Nexia, it can be said that it is for this and invented. But Matiz is much more suitable for a young couple (even with a child), living in a metropolis and chasing the car every day. True, it is necessary to be prepared for the fact that for any cargo, except for a pair of suitcases or several packages from the supermarket, will have to be ordered ...
