The family is unfair to call kutsy, even if the body is only one. In addition to many bright colors, several power units, Matiz can be bought in different trim levels.
The STD version is a gift undemanding and practical. Unspressed bumpers, modest upholstery of doors, no electric drives, inexpensive tires of kumho with dimension of 145/70R13. Manufacturers considered that music should sound even in such a car, but your favorite songs will have to be sought only on radio waves. Those who are not satisfied with the dealers will help replace the radio receiver with a CD resaver. Want to do this on your own - do not forget to buy an adapter to fix the device in a regular place. As the option is offered by air conditioning - an additional payment for it, by current standards, is small and, importantly, adequate to the price of the car.
Those who want to ride comfort the DLX version. For appendage of 30 thousand rubles, you get a couple of electric windows, the central lock, the steering wheel, the continental tire 155/65R13, as well as the lever for remote unlocking of the door of the Zele. The air conditioner is again for an additional fee, but the glass in this performance is athermal so that the interior is less heat in the sun. Among the options are relings for attaching the trunk on the roof and alloy wheels. And in addition to radio programs, you can listen to notes on different musical media. Most of the mates are now equipped with a removable panel. They allow you to listen to the disks of the MP3 format, although it is possible that a car with a built -in cassette radio is caught.
In this configuration, mates is flaunted by bumers in the color of the body. It looks attractive, but impractical for a city machine, which constantly has to catch millimeters in parking lots. Be careful - eliminate the scratch (read - paint the bumper) will get up in a lot of money. But the DLX version has another significant advantage - the ability to order matisa with an automaton. By the way, this is the most affordable machine with two pedals in the market.

У Матиза хоть и короток передний свес, но мал дорожный просвет-в наших условиях лучше подстраховаться.
Цены на обслуживание и запчасти вполне терпимые, при этом серьезных проблем в эксплуатации Матиз обычно не доставляет. Заводскую гарантию недавно увеличили - теперь эти показатели не стыдно произносить вслух: 2 года или 50 тыс. км. Некоторые дилеры обещают и более сладкую жизнь, правда, обязывая владельцев выполнять собственные требования по обслуживанию, которые обходятся дороже рекомендованных производителем.

Как ведет себя Матиз на дороге?
Один из самых серьезных недостатков маленького Дэу - слабенькая и не комфортная подвеска. Она жестко передает даже самые мелкие неровности, а более крупные ямки и кочки отзываются характерным пробоем. Обычно с этими звуками появляются и вмятины на нежных стальных колесах. Кстати, не спасают и легкосплавные - они жестче штамповки, поэтому от ударов часто страдают еще и узкие шины. Идеальная среда обитания Матиза - мегаполисы с ровными улицами, а комфортная скорость - не более 100 км/ч. Дальше в салон настойчиво пробивается шум мотора, машинка начинает неприятно раскачиваться от порыва ветра или колейности. В поворотах на неровной дороге появляется диагональная раскачка - расслабишься, и Матиз тут же соскочит с намеченной траектории.

If you want to travel (even within the region), it is better to give preference to a liter motor. Among other things, a more powerful 4-cylinder engine has less vibration, and it talks quieter than a 3-cylinder 0.8-liter.
Is it worth buying Matiz as the first car?
Many do just that. Someone, due to unpretentious black bumpers who are not afraid of scratches, takes the simplest complete set, others prefer to study on the machine. The machine has quite decent dynamics, good brakes, understandable controls. Thanks to the modest dimensions, a novice driver is mastering the maneuvers vital in the city faster: for example, a turn and parking on cramped streets, and a good visibility will add confidence in a dense stream.
What about passive safety?
Here Matiz is inferior to many modern models. Even in expensive trim levels, UzdEU cars do not install any pillows or electronic systems that save from road collisions. In addition, in the second row of seats there are no head restraints holding the necks of passengers when hitting behind. True, the body, despite its small size, holds a blow well. But its possibilities, unfortunately, are not endless (ZR, 2004, No. 11). The manufacturer should think about a minimum set of protective equipment. Moreover, Matiza was supplied to Europe (not to be confused with the new model of the same name for the European market, which is sold with us as a chevrolet-spark) and with pillows and ABS.
Hatchback
Matiz, like many cars of this class, does not indulge in a variety of bodies - small external differences like moldings and painted bumpers do not count. With modest dimensions (length/width/height - 3497/1495/1485 mm) Matiz is quite roomy. The cabin is quite comfortable for four (not to giants), and if necessary, the fifth will fit for a short while. True, the passenger compartment squeezed the trunk - only 155 liters, but it is very convenient: almost rectangular shape. A modest useful volume justifies the full -fledged reserve under the floor.
