Maybe not? After all, the owners of Daewoo Matiz have nothing to be shy about their cars, say, say, from the owners of the Oka. There is no reason for embarrassment: Matiz is quite convenient and modern small class machine, in addition, with an excellent ratio of price and quality.It is hard to believe that the Korean baby appeared, albeit in a different guise, back in 1982! It was called Suzuki Alto, and it was he who was destined to serve the basis for creating Daewoo Tico. And on the basis of the latter in 1998, Motya was built, as the owners affectionately called their Matiz (though it was first shown under the name Darts Concept). However, or rather, the owner: the charming small car is preferred mainly by young ladies. Of course, there are also men among the owners of these cars: those who do not suffer from complexes and are free from stupid stereotypes. They understand that in the city it is more convenient for Matiz that is perhaps a motorcycle, and it takes a little money for such a car, both when buying and during operation. (By the way, cars are supplied to Russia from Uzbekistan, where they have been produced since 2001 in parallel with Nexia. More than a more demanding customers since 2006 have been offered Chevrolet Spark, only for completely different money.)
We are widespread by Matiz, released after 2001 restyling. They are not oval, but round headlights with turn signals. Outwardly, the moo is fresh and cheerful, unlike it, unlike the large and fat BMW and Mercedes-Benz, you are positive. Contrary to rumors, the car is very well opposed to corrosion: Matiz is made of fairly solid metal and painted efficiently (I must say that Tico rotted absolutely everything except wheels). There are no serious worries with an electrician, since there are few of it in the car. And, of course, one cannot fail to note the high level of passive safety.
The salon is characterized by a cheerful design, normal ergonomics and inexpensive finishing materials. True, it is quite noisy in it. But you perceive all this quite normal: the car is far from a representative class. By the spaciousness of the salon, Matiz overtook many classmates: in principle, you can stay in the back seat for some time. As for the configuration, in some machines it is absent as a concept: manual adjustments, ventilation system without air conditioning, rear window without a wiper
On the move, Motya demonstrates excellent maneuverability, in the city it allows a lot. Despite the low absolute indicators of the dynamics and speed, it cannot be called sluggish: the car has a rather brisk disposition. And only having started at the same time at least with the VAZ-21103i, you understand how weak the Matiz motorrs and the 0.8-liter 52-horsepower engine about three cylinders, and even a more powerful (64 hp) four-cylinder unit of 1 liter. It is impossible not to notice that the air conditioner on the power of two of two engines noticeably selects.
Both engines, I must say, are quite reliable, come in only every 10 thousand km for the service for replacing oil and filters. And there are two main problems: suppositories that can not stand our gasoline (sometimes they have to change them almost every 7 thousand km), as well as a difficult launch at minus temperature (moreover, the owners of Matiz, equipped with automatic transmission). It is believed that the fault for this lies with a weak battery. In any case, before turning on the starter, it is necessary to let the gas pumps bring fuel to the ramp (which means, leave the key in the ON position for a few seconds), as well as to squeeze the clutch and you will be happy. Another difficulty associated with the operation of small -volume motorcies, their small resource. With normal care, it is about 100150 thousand km, but the bulkhead will not cost very expensive about 20 thousand rubles.
You can’t say anything bad about the Matiz transmission. The mechanics, which is equipped with the vast majority of machines, behaves normally. There are, however, nuances: over time, it becomes difficult to translate the lever of the neutral box into a particular groove. And this is due, as a rule, with oil that has exhausted its resource (replacing the lubricant gives tangible results). In the information automatic transmission is not enough, since modifications with an automaton have recently appeared and a few of them, and therefore, have not yet managed to accumulate experience. But everyone agrees that you should not take a car with a variator (and in Russia such copies brought from Korea are found): the box is not too reliable, moreover, the price of replacing the unit is comparable to the cost of the machine itself.
Car services workers will not remember Matiz have serious problems with the suspension. Since the machine is light, the load on the main parts is small. Ball supports, hub bearings, shock absorbers, as a rule, go 50-80 thousand km, besides, they are very inexpensive. The same applies to the brake system: the resource of the rubbing parts is great, and all thanks to the low weight of the moti.
However, what Matiz is still able to unpleasantly surprise is the tendency of individual copies to the right with a straightforward course, and the lead can be almost invisible and obsessive. Some sin on uneven wear of tires, but there is no 100%confidence. By the way, the tires here are not fleshy at all, therefore, it is better to go around large pits to avoid damage to the wheel discs.
Ultimately, Matiz is still perceived in different ways. Someone as a beautiful and perky charming motka, and someone as an inexpensive, convenient and practical Daewoo Matiz. In any case, over the past time past time, the model has demonstrated a fairly high level of reliability, which will please potential buyers. And it doesn’t matter if it is a woman or men.
