After a year after the presentation of the restyled Chevrolet Niva, a joint venture GM-Avtovaz showed the improvements made in the design of the model

In September of this year, it has been eight years since the car of joint production of American management and Russian industry without any changes, except for restyling, leaves the conveyor and at the same time continues to be in demand among consumers. Without waiting for the anniversary year, the GM-authorship company made a refinement in the design of the only NIVA model manufactured, while technical innovations did not affect the final cost of products, leaving it at the same level for each configuration.

To reduce vibration and lower the noise level, a cardan shaft transmitting torque to the rear bridge, with a replacement with non -alcohol hinges with equal angular velocities, and spurs, is modernized. As an addition to the wrestling vibration on Chevrolet Niva, double bearings on the weekend shaft in the transfer gearbox began to install. All these innovations led to an improvement in the smoothness of the course, but did not remove a strong vibration from the lever of switching the distribution box.

In the process of production of the car, engineers of a joint venture worked on improving some structures in the subpoor space, car interior and chassis. The corrosion resistance of the parts, including the wiper levers, is improved, the front seat belts have been finalized, the front spherical spoon resource has been increased with their characteristic creaking of their characteristic creeping, and rubber promotions with metal guides of the front levers were modernized in the chassis.


Future and realities
In the near future, some technical changes will again be pleased with the GM-authorship company. Changes will be made to the nozzles of the rear window washer with an improvement in the properties of fixation, spraying and adjustment. The engineers will eliminate the creak in the front seats when adjusting and moving the car. Also, with the introduction of new oil seals and the new technology for processing the seat for them in the Chevrolet Niva of the following issues there will be no problems with the flow of oil from the power unit and transmission.

The smoothness of the move has improved when switching the gearbox, Ainformativity on the steering wheel is still at a weak level.
