Chevrolet NIVA is not the Niva, what we used to see it. And although this is a car with distinctive, like all the products of the Russian car industry, but modern appearance, outstanding off-road qualities and quite affordable price, compare the Chevrolet follows from the VAZ-2110, and not with the predecessor. Niva just also correlates with the tenth family from AvtoVAZ, like a quarter of a century ago VAZ-2121 looked at the background of the six hundred.
 
But despite the overseas name, the car is perceived very Russian. Notice, not Soviet, but Russian. This is a completely special car, which is some intermediate link between Rousseau Mobile and a foreign car. Why closer? Hard to say.
