The second, third, fifth, again the second programs replace each other almost imperceptibly, and the craving does not think to disappear. Even from cruising 110 km/h, Captiva is ready to accelerate without much difficulty, if there are reasons for that. For styers' races with constant speed and a minimum height difference, the captin button is stored at the captive, by pressing the economical mode: with it, response to press the pedal, the gas slows down, and the machine tries to choose a higher transmission. At this pace, fuel consumption may come closer to the 6.4 -liters stated highway per hundred kilometers, but it was not possible to get out of 11.7 liters with dynamic city starts.

All attempts to move on the field road and experience the possibilities of all -wheel drive rested on signs with unfriendly inscriptions: private property. Road up! But nobody around. Why not go? After all, I'm not for cabbage, I'm for mud ...

When leaving the first puddle, the front wheels began to slip, but the rear ones did not come to their aid at once. We got out without much difficulty, but in the next puddle the situation was repeated. Nevertheless, a multi -discground clutch, the head of the rear wheels, is triggered with a noticeable delay. In this case, cross -country ability was not affected. But how will Chevrolet behave on sand or snow? Will the front wheels start to bury faster than it will become all -wheel drive?

But on the primer, the captivist rushes only dust stands. But they did not make serious changes to the chassis: the car got softer shock absorbers and, conversely, tougher springs. But pits, bumps, a comb for the suspension are not a hindrance. Even the road made of concrete slabs with frequent joints did not seem to be tortured: the fluctuations came to the salon with rounded, muffled. However, asphalt pits with sharp edges or deeply walled up hatches should still avoid the suspension, they do not really complain, significantly shaking the passengers.

The dominant of the transformed salon is a large and slightly old -fashioned steering wheel inherited from the mighty Tahoe. On the go, it is pleasantly heavy, but when maneuvering at pedestrian speeds it did not become easier, and therefore the parking of the crossover took a little more strength than we would like.

The front panel is the same: there is still a climate control unit here, in the usual place and the audio control buttons, only electronic watches now lurked in the depths of an inclined oval window: due to glare, the numbers on them are not always able to make out. The central screen received a proprietary turquoise graphics, only the functions for it are entrusted with a lot. The indication of the climate control mode is adjacent to the testimony of a grocery thermometer, a compass nearby and information from the on-board computer, the eyes are scattered. But devices with red arrows and a pleasant eye with icy backlight, as if on the contrary, are extremely simple and understandable.

The ranges of adjusting the dense driver’s chair, as before, are enough with excess. But the rollers of lateral support for people of thin physique will be practically useless.

The rear seat will easily take into its arms and three passengers, especially since the average step of the transmission tunnel will not interfere with the average. In the backs of the rear seats, the angle of inclination is adjusted, and in the place of the armrest, the cup holders.

Another innovation, which is even considered captives in the basic configuration, is a button of an electric handbrake. And on a place that was released from the good old handle, a huge secret compartment is now hiding.

The trunk with its 477 liters of free space and a mass of underground boxes and niches (in the five -seater version) here, of course, outside of competition. And if you still recall the folding backs of the rear and front passenger seats that form an even platform, then Chevrolet may seem to be a small distorted truck. An extremely practical car

The basic equipment already includes air conditioning, heating the front seats, 6 airbags, ESP, rear parking sensors, an audio system, 17-inch alloy wheels and even the opening glass of the luggage door. Seven -seater is 30 thousand more expensive.

The LT version with the same motor, a mechanical box and five seats will cost 1,120,000 rubles. The configuration includes climate control, light and rain sensors, cruise control, fog lights, leather steering wheel decoration and gearbox handles. A machine with a machine gun costs 1,160,000 rubles, and with an automaton and in a seven -seater design 1 190,000.

The five -seater crossover in the same version of LT, but with a diesel engine and mechanics is estimated at 1,205,000 rubles, with a machine gun by 20 thousand more (it was such a car on the test).

The execution of LT+ with a 2.4 engine, automatic, 5 places, a hatch in the roof, an electric drive of a driver's seat, a leather decoration of the passenger compartment and 18-inch wheels are estimated at 1,240,000 rubles. The seven -seater and with a diesel engine such a car costs 1,335,000 rubles.

The top equipment of LTZ is only in five-seater version, with a three-liter gasoline engine, automatic and on the 19th discs. Price 1,360,000 rubles.

Of all the possible options, the equipment of the LT of a test car with a diesel engine and an automatic box is seen the most successful. It is this combination that will give excellent dynamics, indifference to loading and will not ruin the family budget. It is worth paying attention to the gasoline version only if it is known in advance that the nearest gas station with high -quality diesel fuel is located in a neighboring region.

Do not forget that the seven -seater version actually has a landing formula 5+2. That is, only young children can be planted on a gallery, almost completely losing the trunk.

The base Nissan X-Trail with all-wheel drive and a two-liter engine (141 hp) will cost 1,032,000 rubles. The machine with heavy fuel (150 hp) costs at least 1,211,500 rubles.

Renault Koleos is more compact, but the price list for it begins at 999,000 rubles. There is so much all -wheel drive crossover with a 2.5 -liter gasoline engine (170 hp). The only diesel version 2.0 (150 hp) is equipped with an automaton and is sold at a price of 1,203,000 rubles.

The closest relative of the captiva updated Opel Antara with a similar equipment and a set of engines costs from 1,020,000 rubles. So much is asked for a gasoline version 2.4 (170 hp) with mechanics. A machine with a diesel engine 2.2 (164 hp) and a mechanical transmission costs 1,060,000 rubles.
