Not five years have passed, and the life cycle of the first model ended. The concept of X5 falls out of the designer strategy of Banlla, so in the new car there is no so many bold and controversial solutions as in the 5th or 7th series. The emphasis on light cosmetics, which should make the already holistic appearance of the alternate even more perfect and appropriate time. Based on this, the updated X5 did not become a revelation, but on the contrary, retained all the features of his predecessor, diluted with new details. Family nostrils increased in size, which now dominate the design of the front line in the same way as a huge hood with the proprietary name PowerDome, which closes the updated V8. Svet glasses appeared on the headlights, like on sedans. All in order for X5 to look even more uncompromising and merciless to competitors. But the most interesting thing is that the profile of the car has lost its rapid aggressiveness: the hood line on an updated car breaks sharply than on its predecessor. It seems that the X5 nose was slightly flattened. But this is the only change in the profile of the car, the fifth X was and remains a classic sports SUV. Under the growing rink of the engine, the car accelerates powerfully and confidently. Leave the smoothness of acceleration to American sedans. You feel like a driver of the tank on which the jet engines were placed. The massive X5 with the ease of the sports coupe accelerates to 200 km/h and continues the attack.
