You do not go on two thousand revolutions, but you are sick. If you want accelerate, then cling to the gas pedal with force, the tachometer arrow crawls up to the point, after which the same turbine begins to blow; A certain amount of time passes, and only then you get a kick in the ass and acceleration, which has started for a very long time. That's exactly what BMW was called by dishonest horsepower.
 
I don’t know if the designers of BMW felt like in the exam, but the journalists who arrived in Austria, first of all, began to check the not famous handling of the Bavarian car, namely, how she reacts to the accelerator. Someone, they say, managed to distinguish between the juicy roar of the in-line six a whistle turbine. As for the dynamics and reaction to gas, I will take the liberty to say that if it were not for the pre -released characteristics of the BMW 335i Coupe motor, very few would have managed to feel that the engine here is turbocharged. And the matter here is not only in the pier-for some, at the sight of the blue-blue propeller, he immediately spirals his breath-the matter in the mechanics.
Excessive horsepower can be squeezed from the engine in several ways. For example, increase its working volume. Influences and turbine control systems remain. But how to make it work without pauses?
 
First of all, thanks to less inertia, two small turbines create pressure in the system much faster than one large. Open not today and not even on BMW. More efficient hydraulics, a new hydrotransformer and software made it possible to achieve not only a faster reaction to the accelerator pedal, but also a quick shift in transmission. According to the designers, compared with previous models equipped with automatic transmission, the reaction time was reduced by about 40 percent, and the gear shift time is almost doubled. Say, from the highest gear after a sharp pressing on the gas, the box switches to the second in a tenth of a second. In addition, the impression of dynamic acceleration is enhanced due to the fact that the hydromoft is connected to the engine directly. You can switch the gears manually - both with a pen and petals behind the steering wheel.
 
The BMW 335i Coupe engine is also obliged to, including its high -precision gasoline injection system, developed by the company's specialists. Piezoforms are located exactly between the valves, so the injector opens out in the form of a cone and evenly distributes it in the combustion chamber. This achieves a more accurate dosing of the mixture and the cooling effect that allows you to establish a higher compression degree, and therefore the effectiveness of fuel combustion.
The Bavarian company has long accustomed us that the coupe is not a limousine with fewer doors, but a very special car.
