Even from afar, in the stream of cars, the new Audi S6 will not be confused with the other thanks to the headlights of daylight with burning stripes of LEDs. There are cars that you do not need to get used to it as if put on comfortable light clothes. The Audi S6 could be considered to be among them, but ... the seat with the built -in headrest is clearly not mine. No matter how he sat down, the headrest pressed the back of the head, forcing him to bow a little. The neck, of course, was numb.
Everything is convenient, devices in their places, keys and levers at hand, but you do not immediately start to feel the dimensions immediately. Perhaps due to a high glazing line? But the front stand for the review almost does not interfere only if it rains (and it, of course, went!) And the janitor leaves the strip in a couple of centimeters on the side.
He does not want peace
However, you forget about this when a rumor caresses the bass voice of a ten -cylinder engine. The same unit is also accelerated by the S8 model, only there is a little more strength there. It is still nice to feel that in your power such a powerful miracle of technology. But the sweet bass turned out to be insidious about several tens of kilometers in city traffic jams, I never learned to move smoothly. Even if you slowly press the long-term accelerator pedal, you do not always manage to catch the moment when a 435-horsepower monster wakes up under the hood. And I would like to calm the exciting animal a little, having patted it on the withers calmly, dear, we are in no hurry.
Having escaped outside the metropolis, you understand that for narrow suburban roads and winding serpentines this unit is also a bit too much. Short straight lines is not enough for the V10 to show itself in all strength, and the traction in the turns has to be measured on a teaspoon. If there were smaller horses under the hood, I would hardly have driving more slowly, but certainly calmer.
Navigation has finally brought it to an autobahn. Here are the treasured 5.3 s up to 100 km/h, and limited by electronics at the turn of 250 km/h the maximum speed. Here the developers definitely got into the top ten, and the engine in their element. By the way, the couple has a wonderful six -speed automatic quickly and clearly finds the desired gear. Even with intense acceleration, you almost do not feel jerks when the box rises along its steps.
Eh, there would be a free day, as if he waved somewhere to the sea in Europe, because everything is close. Moreover, even at a speed of about 200 km/h, the car does not bother at all: they are trying to penetrate the aerodynamic noises in the salon, the car holds the road perfectly, clearly fulfilling the driver's desires. True, this is the merit and even German autobahns on Russian routes a hard suspension will shake out of the driver and passenger a desire to go far and for a long time ...
NO ENTRANCE FOR UNAUTHORIZED PEOPLE

It so coincided that we handed over the cars without something eight, and again I remembered the older relative. Of course, her laurels do not give six rest. But to call a new S6 red -haired copy of the Audi S8 is unfair this car with your own face and character, as well as with its weak and strengths. By the way, one of the main advantages of the S6 by almost 20 thousand euros is cheaper (the initial price in Germany is 79,800 euros, or $ 96,000). Just for those who are important and offer a new Audi S6. And what will be the next car with the owners of the new sixes is quite obvious ...
