Test Drive Audi Q5 since 2008 SUV

Audi Q5. 2 571 794 rub.

Four-wheel drive, solid appearance, decent clearance What else do you need a real male car?! But will it get this for the conquest of Russian settlements?

With all its britality, the parkelings are not always able to confront even light off-road. In order to appreciate the possibilities of Q5, we staged a small off-road test on the Hills of the Central Russian Hills.

Modern crossover is always a compromise between asphalt and off-road characteristics. In the case of Q5, this compromise is close to the ideal. On the highway in terms of stability and controllability Q5 can give odds to other cars. The transverse rolls are growing at fast rearrangements, though rather sharply. But this is a natural payroll for off-road comfort. But a noticeable resonance at the height of small irregularities and the textured road markings surprises. Moreover, with more solid obstacles, the German is painted with truly Aryan irrepression.

On the off-road short front Sve and a constant four-wheel drive quattro with an asymmetric-dynamic distribution of torque allow Q5 easily climbing on the slopes to 31. The clearance of 200 mm Audi is enough for hilly calamination and forcing medium-sized brodes. But in the pierced by the Nivami and UAZ, a rut with a smaller road lumen and a base of 2807 mm is still better not to surprise.

Driving
And on the highway, and on the dry cape of Q5 is equally predicting and reliable. Suspension moves are sufficient for easy off-road.

Salon
Without special stylistic sings, brutal and very ergonomic.

Price
Diesel version has a somewhat overestimated.

Advantages and disadvantages
+ Progressive system of full drive, availability of off-road regime, high torque in 500 nm.
- Noticeable vibrations on small irregularities.
