Already at least for the fact that in the history of Russian sales this was the first Audi model, on which customers in the mass order began to be written in line and waited for its access to the market for long, by the standards of the car sales, six months. Last spring, cars appeared on Moscow streets, and the audience already appreciated how successfully A4 entered the design between the three and the six. The rear doors, wings, panel, trunk lid and lanterns have changed. The gamut of engines and sets is not far from 5,000 options offered for A6 and includes five gasoline engines and two diesel ones, as well as three types of transmission: mechanics, automatic transmission Tiptronic and a landless Multitronic automaton.
 
 
For a long -term test, we chose a car with a three -liter engine, Tiptronic automatic transmission and QUATTRO drive. The color is official name green avocados. This had its own logic: a powerful three -liter engine and automatic transmission of this type first appeared on the four, and Quattro is the best that you can wish for the winter (we will have the car until the end of November).
+/- Serial equipment A4 is very rich. Sideguard curtains that protect the ESP electronic stability system with an assistant in braking, separate climate control for the driver and front passenger, alloy wheels ... But our most powerful in the range of the machine turned out to be a rather strange configuration, which we, alas, turned out to be a rather strange set. They did not discuss in advance. Light high -quality skin on seats, ivory of ivory upholstery of the cabin, wooden inserts and polished aluminum in a strange way get along with seats with mechanical adjustments (only lumbar and lateral support are controlled by electricity). We also did not find a familiar on the previous tests of the on -board computer. That is, it is present, but in the abbreviated version: in the window between the speedometer and the tachometer, diagnostics, the mode of operation of the audio system, the fuel range and the outcome temperature are alternately displayed. Perhaps the factory considered that such trifles as the average and instant fuel consumption, the owner of a car with a 3-liter engine is not worried? We, in turn, was be late for the thing that all the desired trifles of the configuration should be discussed in advance - there is no particular hope for the seller.
   
 
- The steering wheel on many expensive Audi models by default is a sports. Its main advantage is not a prestigious logo, but convenience. But again, we got a civilian version, whose rim seemed thin. But let's see. In skillful hands, as they say, and the nail shines.
+ The disadvantages of the configuration with more than compensated by the magnificent ergonomics of the salon: there are no less space than in many sedans by the class higher, in any case, in front (from behind I have not yet been driving).
+/- Symphony audio system- almost the highest for A4 configuration: 8 Bose speakers, subwoofer, CD chamber CD with a load on the front panel, an improved control algorithm. But for some reason, a decorative panel for a tree has disappeared, protecting music in the same A6 from immodest glances, and a completely masculine force has to be applied to the buttons of the stations switching.
 
+/- At the door there are no buttons of locks. It is beautiful. And you can lock them from the inside only from the driver's seat of the central castle. When unlocking the car, all doors and trunk are also opened from the remote control panel, which, in our opinion, is not quite prudent. However, they say that the algorithm can be configured so that when the first press, only the driver's door will open. Let's try.
+ But the backs of the rear sofa are folded completely! In the formed space, two adult human individuals may well fit. Unless, of course, the impatient.
- The dispersion of prices for accessories in Audi branded centers plunged into some shock. For a set of front rugs in a store in the north of the capital, $ 78 was asked. Exactly the same in the center cost $ 42. Guess where we bought them?
