About the price. The minimum amount, by laying out which you can become the owner of the Audi A1, 799,000 rubles. However, at the time of the dealer test, whose car we took on the test, the action operated: several cars were sold at a special price of 907,000 rubles. This amount was evaluated by versions that, among other things, had an automatic transmission of S-Tronic, front and side airbags, ESP system (coupled with other active devices ABS, EBV, ASR and EDS), air conditioning, heating the front seats, front electric windows, and Electro-grinder, start-stop system (automatically damps the motor in traffic jams), an audio system.
Our test car costs even more - 1,200,000 rubles with a little. In addition to the above, it is distinguished by the presence of: rear electric strokes, climate control, roof hatch, sports leather steering wheel, MMI Navigation Plus systems with a retractable screen and navigation system, it comes out not cheap. By the way, on the same day we took the Suzuki Kizashi D-Class sedan, which also cost about the same. But this is the premium: more affordable cars of the same technical and geometric parameters do not have most of the tools that are rich in A-first.
Test No. 2 Road-Snow
A1 compact not only outside. The front passenger and the driver definitely have nothing to complain about. I got a job perfectly, even enough the length of the steering wheel was often missing, but you won’t envy the rear passengers. It is comfortable to sit behind a tall driver only children. But will they be able to? On this later
Audi A1 has a very good sound insulation. Still would! You exclaim, because the premium cars should have this indicator at the highest level. But for comparison, in the A3 model, the wheel arches make noise a little louder. Therefore, a-first is perfectly separated from road noise even for its premium level.
The snow -covered Petersburg is a good school of life that separates flies from cutlets, and placing inexperienced and seasoned drivers in its places. It was terribly curious for us how far the ladies' hatchback could go through unquestioned city streets and courtyards, not yet familiar with the shovel of the janitor.
At first, Audi coped with the conscience: the test of the WHSD and a small segment of the ring road was perfectly passed. Friction winter tires on snow porridge kept no worse than the studded, however, the diameter was the only place in our way, where the cleaning equipment still passed
Managing a bright red car in the snow is easy, interesting, and most importantly nice. And in this regard, it is difficult to call him feminine, because the pleasure of a lightning -fast response of the chassis to turn the steering wheel phenomenon is unisex, if not male.
The Servotronic steering amplifier changes sensitivity depending on speed, but in any situation, the car will be obedient and moves in a timely manner where the driver needs. Even snow porridge does not stop, but on the contrary, it spurges to press the gas, because only the front -wheel drive A1 (this is the only Audi model that is not available with Quattro all -wheel drive) can get out of the drift, unless, of course, wait for the intervention of the stabilization system that protects the car already with basic configuration.
But as soon as there was no way out of the road, not on the off-road, but on the adjacent territory, filled with a 15-20 centimeter snowball, like Audi sat down. When the front wheels were torn off from a hard surface, the stabilization system blocked and refused to pull us on asphalt. Colleagues, barely swinging the scarlet body, helped, as A1 briskly got out of an unexpected trap.
A couple of words about the power plant. The 1.4 engine with two turbines of different pressure enchantly accelerates the tiny hatch, and the driver feels every meter on a sq. Second.
Test No. 3 female
You can argue endlessly about what to consider a female car. It is indisputable that many ladies like A1. But how practical is such a car? And if a woman needs to go somewhere with a child (or even not one), will a small Audi salon accommodate everyone?
So, get acquainted: Lena Designer, travels to Subaru Forester.
Her charming children Miron (height 125 cm) and Mila (height 100 cm).
The task is simple, or maybe not very simple: to install children's chairs as soon as possible (snow and wind are not enthusiastic about people), put children in them, and then try to accommodate it yourself. Trying!
Difficulties arise with the very first chair (Mila). It is tall and does not want to fit vertically.
We try to put it on the side first, and then put it as it should. It turns out, although not without problems.
Now Miron’s chair here should be easier, it is smaller. The problem is solved in less than a minute.
The question of the possibility of planting on the back row someone else becomes rhetorical.
Now children. Miron climbs into his place easily, albeit without delight.
A couple more minutes and sweet in place. And maybe even sitting behind the driver, to chat with your feet.
It remains to drive their mom easily.
Lena Comment: Surprisingly, in this, in general, a very small typewriter we were located without significant problems. To install chairs in a three -door car - an occupation, of course, is not easy, but this does not have to do this every day. Children sat on the back with no problems. And the place in the car was enough.
In general, I really liked it. There are only concerns that this winter on this car will not drive on these roads.
Total: Kolesa.ru tests confirmed only part of the original theses. Women A1 really like it, but the man who turned out to be at his wheel received no less pleasures from winter driving a nimble front -wheel drive compact. But about compactness here is a 100% hit; Audi A1 is convenient to park, it is easy to drive on streets loaded with cars, but it is not easy to use as transport for a large company. The fact that the A -first is the car is not cheap either. But the fact that the pleasure is worth it can be confident.
