Taganrog Automotive Plant (TagAZ)
The enterprise TagAZ, specializing in the assembly of cars was established in 1997. The construction of the plant that opened in 1998 was carried out under the license of the South Korean company Daewoo Motors. Financing was engaged in the FPG "Doninvest". Unfortunately, by collecting several hundred cars under license, the plant was forced to stop production, since suppliers from South Korea could not provide the enterprise in a timely manner. Since 2000, the Citroen Berlingo model is collected at the factory, called Orion-M. And since 2001 - Hyundai Accent. Since 2009, 2 models of the car appeared at the car market of Russia (sedan and commercial low-tonnage truck), fully developed by engineers of the enterprise. And from January 2013, the plant opened the reception of orders for a new Aquila model with a body coupe.
