Comments:

The car has a solid body that provides good comprehensive protection. Protection with side strike was impressive, deserving a high rating. Although the door opened in this test, it is most likely not to happen in a real collision, since the obstacle used in the test pressed the door handle. Rear seat belts can be used to ensure the best fixation of children's chairs, but the instructions for their use are not detected, so they did not participate in the test. Finally, the protection of pedestrian feet was very bad.

Front punch:

The test instance was equipped with double switching airbags, as well as pretensioners and safety belt load limiters. However, even this kit does not escape the breasts of the seds from the effects of high load. The manufacturer has made a lot of effort to protect the knees and the legs of the front passengers. Under the steering column there was a plate of multilayer steel with a filler, covering some very dangerous elements, and the steel bar covers the remaining areas. However, this zone remained quite dangerous, for which several points were shot.

Security of passenger children:

There were no clear warnings in the car's salon about the possibility of damage dangerous to the child's life when installing a children's chair "against the direction of movement" on the front seat. The manufacturer should have seriously refer to this danger and place permanent warnings in the cabin. Two different types of children's chairs were used in the test, both were recommended by VW. The chair for the 18-month was located "against the direction of movement", and the 3-year-old armchair was fixed in ISOFIX castles. The chairs did not fulfill their functions fully.

Side strike:

The side airbag showed a good result by protecting the chest driver. In the door there were blocks of foam, transmitting the pulse from the blow to the pelvic region. However, in a collision, they did not destroy.

Pedestrian safety:

Mitigation of the head of the head of the pedestrian about the surface of the hood turned out to be acceptable, but the estimate for the protection of the legs was lower.
