Comments:

Yaris is a durable and safe chamber that provides comprehensive protection. The manufacturer did not give buyers of recommendations on the children's seats used, but in the future the situation was supposed to change. Protection when hitting the side for a car without a side airbag was extremely good, but the driver's head got out through the window from the car.

Front punch:

With a frontal blow, the Passenger Salon Toyota Yaris was deformed slightly. The front airbags were included in the basic bundle and showed a good result: early detonation and stable contact. Also, the car was equipped with seat belt pretensioners, restraining the movement of the passenger's body in a collision, and load limiters that reduce the pressure on the chest. The central seat of the seats was equipped only with a two-point static seat belt, which can cause a back injury or abdominal department.

Security of passenger children:

The manufacturer did not give recommendations regarding the use of children's chairs, however, said that special chairs will be created in the near future, using the attachment point in the car. The possibility of causing a life-threatening injury when installing a children's chair "Against the direction of movement" at the front passenger site, the sign on the visible side of the sunscreen visor. Seat rear row seat belts are designed to fix children's chairs. The seats were established "in the direction of movement." The chair for the 18th month could not properly protect his neck with a frontal impact, which is a weak place of seating such a design for children of this age group.

Side strike:

For protection when hit, there was not a single score from the side, which is a wonderful result for a car without side airbags. The behavior of the mannequin was unusual: a significant blow was on the pelvic and abdominal departments, which launched the entire mannequin, because of which his head got out of the window. The outer edge of the seating also has an insert that pressed on the pelvis and the abdominal department of the mannequin. In this test, the head did not hit, however, in real conditions the result may be more deplorable.

Pedestrian safety:

Two points ensured weak protection of pedestrian legs, but in addition, points were obtained for mitigating the head of the adult pedestrian and child.
