Comments:

Peugeot 807 and his Twins Citroen C8, Fiat Ulysse and Lancia Phadra received additional points that allowed them to put a five-star rating. These are the first minivans, providing such a level of protection. In 2003, they received an intelligent system of signaling about non-impulsed safety belts for the front sedimons. Peugeot 807 manifested himself very well in testing and was close to getting five stars for the protection of passengers. The body well endured the frontal and side strike, and for the latter the maximum points were exhibited. In front of the windshield, it was found that the firm elements of the front panel can cause injury to the legs of the front sediments. The protection of children is also good, and their chairs corresponded to all EURO NCAP requirements, although the load on the chest 3-year-old child turned out to be slightly higher than the norm. Pedestrian protection is bad, however, the manufacturer declared its intention to improve this aspect in the following models.

Front punch:

Front airbags are inflated in two stages, which provides better protection with a tough collision. Strong body and the lack of a shift of the steering column ensured the safety driver. However, the passenger risked to get injured knees due to contact with the firm elements of the front panel. The deepening for the driver's feet was ground slightly, and his feet were protected well. The central seat of the seats is equipped with a three-point seat belt, providing better protection compared to the waist. All endless belts are equipped with pretensioners.

Security of passenger children:

Front airbag can be disabled manually. This is evidenced by the pictogram (short-lived) and text message on the right side of the front panel, explaining the deactivation procedure. Warnings about the inadmissibility of the installation of a children's chair "against the direction of movement" opposite the airbag did not comply with EURO NCAP. The 3-year-old passenger was placed in the chair "in the direction of movement", and 18-month-in the chair of the same type, however, located "against the direction of movement". The heads of both were protected well, but the load on the chest older is recognized as high.

Side strike:

The protection system for the side impact includes side pillows and security curtains, and the latter protects sediments of all rows of seats. In this test, no score was not lost.

Pedestrian safety:

The level of protection of pedestrians is far from the level of protection of those who are inside the car. The bumper and the edges of the hood turned out to be particularly traumatic.
