Comments:

The body of the new Tigra is very durable and provides good protection for passengers. With a frontal impact, only a small deformation occurred. The frontal blow was conducted with the removed riding to get the worst results. With lateral blow, the roof raised to check the likelihood of the driver's head about it. Although children's armchairs were not installed in the test car, one can be placed on the place of the front passenger. Pedestrian protection turned out to be bad.

Front punch:

Body turned out to be very strong. The areas of the threshold and the front rack are only a bit deformed, as well as the deepening for the legs. Airbags protected well passengers, but the belts had too long loads on breasts. The knee zone of both saddles is unsafe: contact with the steering column and some places of torpedo may result in injury.

Security of passenger children:

In accordance with the usual EURO NCAP procedure, two mannequins of adults were placed for testing in the car, so there were no places for "children". Thus, the assessment of the sewn of children was not carried out. Children's chair can be placed on the place of the front passenger. However, the only warning about the danger of installing the holding of the seat "against the direction of movement" at this place was a sticker on the windshield. Experts considered that she inadequately described the risk.

Side strike:

System of protection at side shocks included side airbags in the backs of chairs. Despite the larger load on the chest driver, the overall result is very worthy.

Pedestrian safety:

The front edge and the surface of the hood in the zone where the head of an adult will fall at the road, ensured some softening of the strike, in contrast to the remaining checksums. The bumper did not provide proper protection of pedestrians.
