Comments:

Durable Body and Multistage Dual Front Signum Airbags provided good sewage protection. However, the driver's chest was affected by a relatively large load, more than for a passenger. Also, the driver risked to get damage to the knees and legs from hitting the rigid elements in the front panel. Children's chairs defended their saddles, but left an ambiguous impression. Pedestrian protection is very bad.

Front punch:

Car body moved well. The deepening for the legs and the doorway is not deformed not much, and the pedals of the brakes and gas shifted up for a short distance. As with the "relative" of Vectra, the signum pedals are designed in such a way as to disconnect from fasteners with serious impact, reducing the likelihood of damage to the legs. However, the deepening for the legs was deformed not enough to activate this mechanism. Torpedo hard elements threatened the knees of the front seds. The central seat of the reverse seats is equipped with a three-point seat belt, providing better protection compared to the belt.

Security of passenger children:

On the passenger side of the front panel attached an icon with security tips. However, it does not mention the danger of the installation of a children's chair "against the direction of movement" opposite the airbag. Both children were placed in the Opel chairs "in the direction of movement." In the back of the seats, there are iSofix mounts, but the fasteners selected by the manufacturer do not have, fixing with seat belts. The chair was defended by the younger passenger, although with a frontal impact there was some risk of getting a neck injury. However, the eldest risked to get damage to the chest at a frontal impact and head - with lateral.

Side strike:

Although the car's package included side airbags in the backs of the chairs, the load on the chest was relatively high. The security curtain protected the driver's head at side shocks about overlapping and pole. It also protects second-rows seds.

Pedestrian safety:

Only one checkpoint from 18 provided some mitigation. This is a bad result for a modern design car. The manufacturer must take more about such a vulnerable group of road participants as pedestrians.
