Comments:

Opel Corsa received two stars for protection during front and side shocks. If the passenger's head did not hit the top edge of the front panel, then there would be more in the ranking. All new ones at the time of testing safety requirements for headlight shock were observed, except for protecting the head of the front passenger and shifting the steering wheel back and up. With a frontal impact, the main problem was the displacement of traumatic elements. Passenger salon is not deformed significantly. The protection of the left knee of the driver turned out to be good, but on the right side there was still something to work. The situation with the deepening for the legs could also be better. In the lateral impact of large shortcomings, it was not found, but would not prevent improvements.

Front punch:

The deformation of the passenger compartment was insignificant, the integrity of the body structure is saved. The shift of the steering wheel back and up was limited - 127 mm horizontally and 129 mm vertically, - however, crumpled recesses for the legs is very strong. The door from the driver was strong enough to keep the form of the opening, after hitting both doors opened normally. The testimony of mannequin sensors speaks of good head protection, although a small shift of the steering wheel up and back causing this rating. Neck protection is recognized good. The safety belt pressure on the driver's chest was insignificant, however, due to the pressed torpedo, the defense is not sufficient. Protection of the upper part of the driver's feet was good - the left knee only slid slid over the shutter of the steering column. On the right side, the knee rested in the cover of the fuse box. The estimate for the protection of this area is reduced due to the fact that with the further movement of the knee, the load is sharply increased. Despite the significant deformation of the deepening for the legs, the protection of the lower part of the passenger's legs is recognized as normal, and the protection of the feet and the ankles is insufficient. The passenger's head hit the upper part of the front panel, so the assessment was reduced. Since the assessment for the protection of the passenger's head was worse than for the driver, then it was it that when withdrawing the final rating for protection during front and lateral blows. The protection of the right leg of the passenger is recognized as bad, and the chest and the bottom of the legs is normal. The neck, left leg, feet and ankle passenger were well protected.

Security of passenger children:

The manufacturer recommended the use of the Britax SuperCruiser children's chair "in the direction of movement." With a frontal blow, the jerk jerk was not significant, but the insufficient fixation of the upper part of the chair led to an excessive movement of the child's head and its contact with the back surface of the front armchair. With lateral strikes about the overlap, the cross-shift of the children's chair was small, its upper part was moving parallel to the central line of the car. The child's head fell out a little outside the chair.

Side strike:

Head defense turned out to be good. The load of the mannequin breast was normal, although the protection of the abdominal department was weak. The equipment failure led to the loss of data on the protection of the pelvic department, but the manufacturer's data say that the assessment would be quite high.

Pedestrian safety:

Sewing the head of a young pedestrian. All control points provided protection worse than medium: above the battery, above the shock absorber, over an oil filter, air filter, over the hose mounting clamp and brake fluid tank. Protection of the top of the legs. All three control points provided protection worse than medium: near the lock of the hood cover, in the center of the headlight and near its indoor edge. Adult head protection. One control point protected the head better than the law requires. This place is on the panel in front of the windshield. Two other points provided protection better than the average. Protection of legs. All three points on the bumper protected legs worse than medium. They were located in the center, near towing eye and at the level of the inner edge of the headlight.
