Comments:

With a frontal impact, MICRA is slightly deformed. Despite the presence of airbags, the head and the chest driver hit the steering wheel. This little backer is equipped with ISOFIX fasteners in the rear sofa and both children's seats were installed with their help. However, a 3-year-old armchair provided weak protection during front and side shocks. The windshield provided some protect against adults, and the front edge of the hood - young pedestrians.

Front punch:

Passive security systems could not prevent the driver's head and chest driver about the steering wheel. Also, the driver risked to get injured legs due to hitting the hard elements under the surface of the front panel. The passenger's chest is well protected. The central seat of the seat is equipped with a three-point strap that provides better protection compared to the belt, but the seat back is fixed using the locking mechanism, so before fastening the belt you need to make sure that the back of the seating is fixed. Naturally, it increases the risk.

Security of passenger children:

The 18-month passenger was located in the children's chair "against the direction of movement", and the 3-year-old - in the chair "towards the movement". Both chairs were installed using ISOFIX two-point fasteners, but the senior passenger was not well protected with a frontal, nor with lateral blows. The younger would be protected well if it were not for the risk of getting a neck injury at a frontal impact. Warning inscriptions were securely fixed on the sunscreen visor and met the requirements of EURO NCAP, informing about the possibility of obtaining severe or fatal injury when placing a children's chair "against the direction of movement" at the front of the front passenger opposite the airbag.

Side strike:

The driver turned out to be well protected, despite the risk of damage to the chest, which occurred even if there is a side airbag in the chair. The energy of the collision was distributed between the mannequin and the chair are uncharacteristic for real conditions, reducing the sensors in the chest.

Pedestrian safety:

The manufacturer has made efforts to improve pedestrian protection upon arrival. Zones where an adult head or baby falls softer, two points on the bumper are also more pillars than before. The front edge of the hood remained unsafe.
