Comments:
Range Rover has a very durable body that provides passengers with front and side shocks. All doors were able to open normally. However, the driver's chest was affected by a rather large pressure belt pressure, which, with a real accident, can lead to injury. Children's chairs showed a good result, but the level of pedestrian protection is extremely low.Front punch:
Body car very well suffered a blow. The driver's niche tested a small deformation, and the shift of the pedals of the brake and accelerator up and back was small, which indicates the low probability of injury. However, the knees of the front sediments have undergone damage dangers when hitting the rigid elements in the front panel. The central seat of the seats is equipped with a three-point strap that ensures much better protection than the belt.Security of passenger children:
In the car there are ISOFIX fasteners, allowing to mount children's chairs directly to the seat of the car, but recommended by the manufacturer of the chair by the time the tests have not yet received certificates of conformity, so the seats were used in the test, the seat belts were used in the test. A prevention of the airbag was on the windshield and misled, as it informed that the car was equipped with driver's or both front airbags, while both are included in the basic configuration for this model.Side strike:
The load, recorded by mannequin sensors, was one of the lowest EURO NCAP test history. Airbag in the door and curtains well protected the driver from serious injuries with side shocks about overlapping and pole.Pedestrian safety:
Only three of the 18 control points ensured at least some kind of protection. The result is terrible and requires improvement.General information about the car
