Protection of adult passengers:
During the frontal impact, the passenger salon was deformed slightly. Tough elements of the torpedo are a danger to the knees and hips of the front riders. The maximum number of points was scored by a lateral hit on the floor. When hitting a pillar, protection of all parts of the body is recognized as good, with the exception of the chest, for which the assessment was lower. The protection of the neck when hitting the back is recognized as insufficient.
Safety of passenger children
With the frontal impact, the movement of the head of the 3-year-old passenger was not excessive (the 18-month-old was in the chair “against the direction of movement”). At a lateral blow, both mannequins were well recorded in chairs. The safety pillow of the front passenger can be disconnected, which allows you to install in its place the children's chair “against the direction of movement”. However, informing the driver about the status of the pillow is not clear enough. The inscription on the passenger sun visor clearly indicates the danger of placing a children's chair “Against the direction of movement” opposite the active airbag.
Pedestrian protection
The bumper provided predominantly mediocre protection of the legs of pedestrians, and the front edge of the hood was weak. In most places where the child’s head will fall, the defense was weak, but in the places of impact of the head of an adult pedestrian, it was quite good.
