Comments:
With the front side of the Body ATOZ, the steering wheel and the brake pedal shifted far back. This, as well as a high load on the chest driver, influenced a bad overall rating. However, with lateral strike, the results were much higher, and only the risk of chest injury led to the loss of points, although the driver's head hit the central rack. However, children's chairs did not provide security at the proper level, especially with a frontal impact, in which there was an excessive movement of mannequin heads. For cars of this size, pedestrian protection was at the middle level.Front punch:
The driver's door was not very deformed and was able to open up without help. However, all the protection was "on the verge", including the deformation of the steering wheel. The knees of the front sedimons were dangerous to get injured at contact with traumatic places around the steering column.Security of passenger children:
The manufacturer did not give recommendations to the buyer regarding the used children's chairs, although those used in the test were approved by the manufacturer. The protection of children should be treated with great attention. Chairs did not provide complete safety of children. With a frontal impact, the movement forward was excessive, and at the side heads were not kept within the seats. This significantly increased the risk of serious damage. Much in this aspect needed improvements.Side strike:
The side blow saved the ATOZ reputation: its body absorbed energy, although the load on the chest was high. All together creates the impression of a well-thought-out body structure. The drive of the driver's head about the central rack was minus, although not strong enough to cause serious damage.Pedestrian safety:
Partially defense was provided in the field of legs and hips of pedestrians. Not all points were obtained because of the places of the possible hit head. With this state of affairs, much in the body design can be improved.General information about the car
