Accent has earned two stars, but the latter was removed for the unacceptably high risk of chest damage during lateral impact. Therefore, the car did not comply with security requirements for lateral blows introduced in Europe in October 1998. The bumper manifested himself well at a pedestrian race - all three test points complied with security requirements.

Front punch:

Side strike:

The driver's head hit the upper fastening of the seat belt on the central rack. The same elements were injured by the abdominal department, while reducing the assessment for its protection. However, the defense of the pelvic region was good.

Pedestrian safety:

The bumper manifested itself only well, corresponding to all security requirements.
