Comments:

Honda can rightly be considered the first automaker created a car sufficiently protecting pedestrians. Unfortunately, children's chairs were not so good. In the test, the seats of new design were used, using two-point ISOFIX fastenings and upper mounts. With a frontal blow, the car's salon remained practically not damaged, which is a significant achievement for a compact car.

Front punch:

The body turned out to be very strong and the driver's door opened normally. Front rack was not deformed. The relatively high load belt load fell on the chest. Hard elements under the surface of the front panel can be injured by both front seats. It was noteworthy that the foot niche remained almost not touched.

Security of passenger children:

The only caution about the inadmissibility of the installation of the children's chair "against the direction of movement" at the place of the front passenger at the active airbag was the small pictogram on the central stand. EURO NCAP experts recommended the manufacturer to take additional measures to prevent features. The test uses the recommended Honda chairs Römer Duo, having upper mounts. Their attachments need to be pulled out to use ISOFIX in the seats, but too little information is reported. The installation process with upper mounts is not explained. High load on the neck of the 18-month passenger makes his chair inappropriate.
