Comments:

After the first tests, Fiat decided to significantly process the model. The original version showed itself poorly on the frontal impact, but looked good in the side, given that it was not equipped with side airbags. Children's seats protected their passengers well, although the safety belt slipped on the shoulder, which could create problems.

Frontal blow:

Multipla design disappointed. Under the dashboard, solid elements were discovered, dangerous for the knees and legs of the front riders. The driver’s head hit the steering wheel, and the bracket mounted the panel climbed out of the front rack. However, the central rear passengers offered three -point seat belts that provided better protection than the waist belts would do. The airbag pillow also protects passengers in the rear seats.

Safety of passenger children:

The safety pillow of the front passengers is included in the basic package, and it may be a danger when installing the children's chair “against the direction of movement” in these places. The warning inscription is placed on a passenger sunset, but it does not mention the likelihood of serious or even deadly injury. You can turn off the pillow using the switch, but the instructions for its use are very confused, and improper use can be dangerous. The test used Lineaccessori Kiddy 2000 children's chairs. The shoulder section of the seat belt should hold the child’s body, but the belt slipped from the shoulder and was not as effective as expected.

Side blow:

In a lateral collision, the car proved itself surprisingly well, despite the lack of lateral airbags.

Pedestrian safety:

The results in this category were average for cars of this class. The bumper and the front edge of the hood did not earn points at all.
