Protection of adult passengers:

Chevrolet ORLANDO salon was not deformed with frontal impact. Good results for the driver and maximum for the passenger were shown. Chevrolet has shown that a similar level of protection will be provided for passengers of different sizes and for those who sat in different poses. The side impact of the machine showed good results for all parts of the body. With lateral strike, the middle protection post led the chest, the remaining parts of the body were in reliable protection. The seat and head restraint provide very good protection against the neck injuries in the event of a blow from behind.

Security of passenger children

Orlando scored the maximum number of points for the safety of an 18-month-old child. With frontal and lateral shocks, the seats of children moved slightly, there was a minimum risk of hitting the car. Head movement control was good anyway. Also Chevrolet Orlando received 4 points in the assessment of Vehicle Based Assessment.

Protection of pedestrians

Bumper provides middle pedestrian foot protection. The front edge of the hood scored 0.1 score of 6 possible, the remaining parts of the hood showed mixed results. Possible scope of the child's head showed basically good results. For the strike of an adult pedestrian, the indicators were less friendly.

Protection of pedestrians

The system of course stability (ESC) is included in the basic configuration of the model and meets the test requirements of EURO NCAP. There is alarm on non-dishepted safety belts for the driver and front passenger, but for the rear - are missing. No speed limiters in this model.
