Comments:

With a frontal impact, the roof of the Rhodster TT was removed to ensure the worst result. When the side strike, it was raised to check the probability of the head of the driver's head about the rack. Although the tests of children's chairs were not conducted, one of them can be installed on the front seat. The front airbag in this case can be turned off using the ignition key and lock in the glove box. The side airbag for the head ensured mitigating when hitting a pillar, however, it was not completely revealed. Finally, pedestrian protection is recognized very bad - not a single star.

Front punch:

The airbag guided the driver's head, but the load on the chest of the front sedals from seat belts was higher than the norm. The driver's door is designed to consider the ability to transfer the pulse from the collision into the back of the car. However, despite the compression of one of the beams and the deformation of the back of the threshold, the car body during the impact is not lost. Both seats risked to get a serious trauma of legs due to contact with traumatic elements around the steering column and in the front panel.

Security of passenger children:

TT is a double car and, since in the tests both front armchairs were engaged in "adults" mannequins, there were no places for the installation of a children's chair. Front passenger airbag can be turned off the ignition key in the switch hidden in the glove box. About the status of the pillow reports the light bulb between the seats and behind the lever of the PPC.

Side strike:

Side airbags for chest and head worked late. Although, when you hit the post by the right of the contact of the head with the airbag, the latter was already disclosed completely, part of the car acted outside the car through the open window. Although the driver's head did not hit the pillar, the experts expressed doubt in the same protection efficiency for a higher driver. Finally, despite the presence of a pillow, a small risk remained for the driver to get injuries of the chest.

Pedestrian safety:

Pedestrian protection is very bad. The car did not score a single security score.
